As we got to our new house I noticed a few boys outside next door playing basketball. I got out of the truck and grabbed a box from the back. "Laura?" I hear a familiar voice shouting from behind me. I turn around and I see him with his other friend...
I stood there in shock as I thought to myself. I can't believe I moved right next to Calum. He was pretty attractive, but all of his friends were too. Calum waved his eyes infront of me. I shook my head. "Sorry," my face turned bright red.
The boy chuckled, which just only made me blush even harder. "It's alright. Anyways this is Ashton, Michael, and Luke." Calum said as he tossed the basketball to one of the boys, who I remember him calling Ashton.
"Calum is used to it, he gets all the girls. Ain't that right?" said Luke. Or maybe it was Michael. He winked at Calum and punched him in the shoulder lightly. He had on a pair of ripped black jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Who the hell wears jeans in summer? He also had a lip ring on his right side, well, my right.
"Ha-ha. Very funny, Luke." Calum rolled his eyes. Yep, it was Luke. I'm assuming Luke usually gets the girls. I mean, I can see why. He's hot. "Laura?" Damn, I did it again. Luke looked at me and grinned.
"Sorry," I giggled, "would you repeat that for me?" The boys chuckled.
"Do you need any help with moving your things in?"
"Yeah! I need help carrying some of my bedroom furniture in," I nodded and gestured them to follow me. "So just take them to my room and I'll tell you where i need them." I smiled. The boys groaned as they saw everything that needed to be carried. "Whoops," I laughed.
As each boy brought in a piece of furniture, I pointed to a spot in the room based off of my sketch I had made.

Once the boys were done, they all plopped on my bed, exhausted. "Would anyone like anything to drink? I have water and uh- yeah thats it."
All at once, all of them raised their hands. "Alright, it's just tap though," I stated as I walked down to get five glasses of water, one for myself.
As I poured the water in the cups, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to be facing Luke. "Oh, um... Hey," I said softly as I handed him his water.
"Sup. I just came down to help you, its kinda hard carrying five glasses of water by yourself," He chuckled and held his hand out, offering to carry another. I handed him another drink.
"Thanks... Luke, right?" I questioned him as we began to walk towards my room.
"Yep. Luke Hemmings, in the flesh. So, how did you meet my friend Calum? Let me guess... strip club?" He chuckled at his joke, and I giggled along.
"Nope, I went shopping with my friend at Hot Topic, and he was there," I said as we both got back to my room. I handed Calum and Ashton their drinks, while Luke handed Michael his.
After moments of complete silence, Ashton decides to speak up, "Hey, since you're new here, why don't we show you around a bit?"
I nod, "That's a great idea! First let me go ask my mum." I get up and quickly rush downstairs to ask my mum if we could go.
Luke's P.O.V.
As soon as she leaves to go get her mum, all of us look at eachother. "Dibs," I smirk and cross my arms over my chest.
"No way," Calum shook his head, "I was the one that met her first. I should get dibs."
"Sorry. You snooze, you lose. I called dibs first," I grinned as I heard her footsteps walking back up.
Laura's P.O.V.
Once I get back to my room, all of the boys are silent and staring at me. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Uh, anyways. My mum said yes, but since it's a school night, I need to be home at a decent time."
They all nodded and rushed outside, yelling about who got shotgun. I laughed and rolled my eyes. I wonder why they all were staring at me earlier.
When I got to the car, everyone had decided to just let me get shotgun. I quickly got inside to notice that Luke was the one driving. He nodded at me; I nodded back at him.
I sit back in the seat as I look out the window, every once and a while Ashton mentioning a building. "Anyone hungry?" Luke asks as he stops at a stoplight. Everyone, including myself, raise their hands.
Luke pulls into a parking lot of a fast-food restaurant. I look at the sign above the restaurant and it reads "In-n-Out". I've heard of this place, but I sadly have never eaten here. He parks in a parking spot close to the door and gets out.
I follow everyone inside. "It's on me guys," Luke states as he gets is money out of his wallet. All of them order the exact same thing, a cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla shake. "I guess I'll have the same thing as them," I nod.
Hours later
Luke takes all of the boy's home, all thats left is me and Calum. "So, Laura, how old are you?" Calum asks as he leans forward.
"I'm seventeen, i'll be eighteen in a couple months." I nod as I turn to face him. "What about you?"
"I'm nineteen. Luke here though, the youngest of us all, is eighteen. He's a summer baby," He grinned as he patted his shoulder.

After we got to my house, Calum got out and went inside. "Hey, Laura," he bit as he grabbed his phone out of his pocket, "could I possibly get your number?" I nod as he hands me his phone. I put my number in and set my name as "Laura" with a red heart emoji beside my name. He grins as he looks at the name I had set. "Well... I'll see you tomorrow at school, yeah?"
