No mercy has been shown to us. We've lost three dear comrades.. In the haze, a voice calls out to me and I turn around frantically. Another voice pipes in and I turn. Left... Behind.. Left.. Right.. In front... I don't know anymore..
With a weak foot dragging behind and a horrid stench, the remaining members of our grouped turned. And then it happened. He tripped.... He tripped..
He. Tripped.
As a small creature bonked on his head to get up, he struggled with a broken ankle. I frantically tried to run back, but a strong grip held my wrist. "No, no, no..! Please..! No! Let go...!" I struggled out of his grip, to no avail. "Just don't.. It's too late."
He pulled me along and I simply gaped at the gorey scene before my eyes. Finding safe enough shelter in a cave, I hugged my knees. "We could've saved him..." A sigh came from a companion, "No, we couldn't. You saw what happened to the others. He'd get us sick."
"You guys changed too much ever since this started..." I buried my face in my knees and shook, "I don't wanna do this anymore..."
