17 - she wanted to get a proper look at him

lisa walked into the diner alongside jisoo, rose and trailing behind was jimin. she was nervous. very nervous. but also incredibly excited for food that wasn't from nando's or the plane.

"try to look a little excited." jisoo smirked as she nudged lisa, snapping the blonde out of her thoughts. Rose laughing from beside the two.

"i am! just tired..." lisa tried to play off as she laughed, rubbing the back of her neck however before jisoo could scoff and accuse lisa of bullshitting jimin spoke up.

"there they are!" jimin grinned as he spotted his friends, hoseok, taehyung and jungkook all sitting in a cramped booth. jimin was surprised he was the last to show up.

lisa swore she felt he breath hitch in her throat. jungkook looked fucking perfect. she can't face him. she wouldn't be able to talk to him. why'd she have to be so confident and blunt over text?

"what the fuck? you did not tell me they were hot!" Rose whisper yelled with wide eyes, suddenly her attitude becoming like her sisters as she nudged lisa many times.

"they're really just a bunch of dumbasses." jisoo hummed as they trailed behind jimin - jisoo was used to being in the company of the guys. she didn't find them that good looking, only jimin of course.

"lisa!" hoseok yelled with a child like grin as he jumped up from his seat, walking over to the girl and engulfing her in a hug; putting lisa slightly at ease.

"hi." lisa spoke back as she hugged him, before pulling away with a small giggle. okay at least hoseok is the same in person as he is over text.

"hi i'm hoseok." hoseok grinned once pulling away from lisa, introducing himself to the older sibling.

it was about two minutes of introductions and such. lisa also gave taehyung a hug and then jimin started whining about wanting food.

"jungkook are you gonna say hello or be an asshole?" jisoo spoke up as everyone took their seats - lisa in-between jisoo and rose, opposite jungkook. the one person who hadn't spoken to her.

she had a gut feeling that he just didn't like her. which made her feel kinda upset but not surprised. what did she expect?

"hi." jungkook spoke as he flashed a small yet fake smile at both lisa and rose. Rose was too busy in conversation with hoseok to notice but lisa just gave a small smile back.

"so how was the flight?" taehyung piped up with a slight grin, ruffling his hair as his eyes fixed on lisa. the girl he couldn't help but be slightly interested in.

"it was good! i mean, i didn't eat any of the food and couldn't sleep but we didn't have any delays or problems." lisa hummed, playing with her fingers as she glanced from tae to infront of her.

jungkook was just staring at her.

okay maybe it made sense cause she was talking but his stare was intimidating so she was quick to look back at taehyung.

"that good." the boy replied with a square smile.

"yeah." lisa said softly - tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear as she glanced at jungkook once more.

she wanted to get a proper look at him, she could already tell he was just as, maybe even more, attractive than he was on his social media.

but of course jungkook is still looking at her, simply sending her a smirk when they made eye contact once again.

this would be a long summer.
