the beginning of the car ride was silent but not an uncomfortable one, however i could feel jimin's stare on me.
"jimin, what do you want?" i finally asked.
"jungkook or taehyung?" he replied.
"what?"
"you heard me."
what type of question is that?
"look lisa," jisoo started, " jimin and i were thinking, that you three should clear the air. that's why they're in one car and you're in another."
"what do you mean,'clear the air'?" i questioned.
"well..." jimin ran his hand through his hair. "taehyung obviously likes you, jungkook's only just started to realise how he feels and well... you seem confused."
i looked at my cousin and my bestfriend, i felt my mouth snap shut.
tae was kind, straight forward. when i was with him we could have conversations that never ended but that did seem like all it could be.
whereas jungkook was complicated, indirect. with him, we didn't need to speak.
i smiled at the thought of spending the night in his arms again.
"i know what i want." i told them.
jungkook's pov

my mouth fell open at hoseok's words.
"hyung..." i heard tae say, we were both looking at hobi sitting in the middle.
"well do you?" he asked.
my eyes flicked up towards taehyung, who was looking at the ground.
he does like her.
just the thought of someone else looking after her and holding her made my chest burn.
just the thought of her looking for someone else's protection and warmth made my brain fuzzy.
i knew very well that i was attracted to her but after last night and all the nights before, i knew i felt something else.
my cheeks felt hot at the thought.
"i'm willing to do what it takes for me to have her." i said calmly.
"that makes two of us."
