Asgore is slightly scared and stepped slightly back.

Toriel: You pathetic whelp. If you really wanted to free our kind, you could have gone through the barrier after you got ONE SOUL, and you’ve taken six SOULs from the human children by killing them as you keep the SOULs yourself then come back
and freed everyone peacefully. But instead, you made everyone live in despair and you gain vengeance to end the human race. Because you would rather wait here for many years, meekly hoping another human never comes.
