chapter 3

I open the door.
"Mum, I'm home!" I shout through the house.
I go to the kitchen, where my mum is sitting at the table.

"Hey Leah, where have you been? And what are that for clothes?" She asks.

"Oh, yeah. I was with a friend. His name is Mikolas. We were outside, when it started raining and snowing, so he gave me some of his clothes," I say, then I explain everything what happened today.
My mum knows, what happens in school, but because of her depressions she can't help me, but I'm not mad at her.

"Mum it's getting late. I'm going to bed now," I say and hug her.

I go upstairs and look outside of the window. It's still snowing... What's wrong with the weather?

I go to my room and put on my pajamas. Then I go to my bathroom, brush my teeth and wash off my make up.
I've been at Mikolas' house till 8 pm and now it's 9 pm. I'm so tired...

I go back to my room and sit down at my bed. Suddenly I got a message on my phone.
It was from someone unknown.

Hey!🙃

Hey, who are you?🤨

Oh, sorry it's me, Miki😁

Who's Miki? Oh wait! Is Miki, Mikolas' nickname? Awww, how cute that sounds.

Oh, hey Mikolas. Miki is your nickname?🙈

Yes it is, didn't told you🙈😝
What are you doing?

I just got ready for bed. I'm so tired....😴
And you?

Me too😂

I add him to my contacts and after one hour chatting I go to bed. I could talk to him everyday, he's so kind and so caring. Ok, I should stop thinking about him like that, I do not want to fall in love with my best friend...

Then I fall asleep.

-next day-

"Leah, wake up! You forgot to set your alarm clock!" Mum yells at me.

"Sorry mum..." I mumble and go to the bathroom.

I get ready and go to the kitchen. What? It's already 6:35? Mikolas comes in fife minutes!

I run upstairs and grab my things, then I fetch my jacket. I'm putting on my shoes, when suddenly someone rings at the door.

I grab my bag and open the door. In front of me, there's a cute smiling Miki. I hug him and close the door.

"Hey, how are you?" He asks and tries to start with a little bit smalltalk.

"Good, I think," I answer and shrug.

After ten minutes we reach the schoolyard. I feel uncomfortable here. I want to go home ..... I hate this place.

"Hey, Watch out! The others will come soon, that means, we get bullied again," I whisper and look sad.

"Hey, we're gonna do that. They can't make us down, right?" Mikolas says and looks at me invitingly. It feels like he knows my fear, my pain. Yes, mostly I don't care about the others, but it makes me sad nearly every day. When I'm with Mikolas, it makes me strong,  it helps me. He's supporting me.

"Fat cow, Fat cow, Fat cow!" Leon yells and starts laughing. I ignore him and walk together with Miki to the classroom.

We sat down on our seats. Suddenly Tracy comes to my seat.
