Hey my loves! Umm I want you guys to know more about me so here it goes.
My name is Anna (short for Annalyse or Annalysa in Spanish) I was born in Chihuahua (Ciudad de Juárez), Mexico and I came to America when I was 4 years old.
One we crossed, we were in el pasó, texas for a bit. Most of the people in El Pasó spoke Spanish so it wasn't too much of a change.
Later on that year, my Tia got a job as a news anchor in Vegas and thought it was a good idea for us all to move there.
Me only being 5 years old and moving to a strange country with a strange language was so hard. It was all new and weird.
We moved to Vegas and me and my brother were forced to go to a elementary school that really only spoke English. My mom and dad already knew English due to having family in America but for me and my brother we did not know a word.
We ended up having translaters but it was embarrassing. I did get bullied for being the "foreign girl." My parents ended up teaching us English before and after school.
I ended up learning English and it only took 2 years. Everything was great! I made friends that spoke English because I could speak English too! Until we got kicked out of the school and to this day I'll never know why.
We ended up going to a more "privileged" school. Me and my family tried to become the "American Family" since my parents wanted to fit in and not get discriminated against. It was scary moving to a new school in a strange country. People are way more mean here than in Mexico.
I remember going into the first day of 2nd grade not having any friends until an angel sent by heaven came and talked to me! (AGGRESSIVEGRETHAN I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU!)
She came up to me while I was on the bridge being a lonely ass child and said
"Hey"
That's where the adventure begins.
