Rain

Third Person POV

Rain.

Officer Grayson hates it.

Usually it's just weather, but in Bludhaven, it's a curse.

Rain is when muggers come out. Since people are not on the streets, it's easy to get some lone woman without being noticed.

Rain is cold. So when he has to patrol a side of the street without the car, it just sucks.

Rain is lame.

Officer Grayson walked steadily down the side walk pathway. A black umbrella over his head to avoid getting wet.

He kept walking. Glancing ever now and then down alleyways and such. He was about to pass another, so he glanced down it.

A shadow moved.

Not uncommon. He sighed a little before calling out. "Who's there?"

Seems stupid to call like that, right? Wrong. You can't pull a gun when your unsure if it's even a person. You can't go in there and get ambushed.

Another shadow moved. However, no response. "Last warning, who's there?" He asked.

.....

He sighed before closing the umbrella and walking into the ally, hand on his revolver.

Silence

A hand touched his arm.

He whipped around pulling out his gun. Pointing at the shadow in front of him. He narrowed his eyes.

"Does your father know your out here?" He said, holstering the gun.

"Tt." The voice said.

Out of the shadows, stepped Damian Wayne. Officer Graysons youngest brother.

"Of course not." Damian answered.

The officer resisted the urge to sigh again. Outstretching the umbrella again. Though he was already soaked in that small amount of time...

"Whatcha need, Little D?" Dick asked.

"Refuge. It's raining in Gotham as well. Unfortunatly, Todd is wanting out and Alfred refuses to let the idiot go. So he and Drake have been pathetically arguing non stop."

"Well, get Bruce to stop them." Dick said, pulling Damian little closer to him, so as he does not get anymore wet than he is.

"Tt. Father is just as bad as they are." Damian responded.

The officer huffed a laugh. "Yeah, I've been where you are too. You can bunk with me tonight." He said.

Damian nodded. "Thank you, Richard..." He said, a bit nervous. Not used to dropping his little brat act.

Dick smiled. "No problem Dami. C'mon, let's get outta the rain. My shift is way past over." He stated, guiding Damian out of the ally.

As the two walked, Officer Grayson held the umbrella over his little brother.

"Grayson, I do not need your assistance."

"Officer big brother duty."

"Tt."

Yay, so there was that. If you have any officer Grayson stories you wanna see, comment them and let me know.

Honestly, Dick and Damian Brother Fanfics are the best. Don't deny it, or I'll send a talon for your head.

Ha.

So.

Yeah.
