Bludhaven ??:?? PM

"Bludhaven is in complete evacuation.  Government officials ordering fire and rescue reinforcements, but unlikely to get here in time to stop the destruction."  A female news reporter, Linda Jiyu, spoke fearfully In the mic.  Fire raged behind her, far, but illuminated the area.

"Over 120 people have successfully fled the city, but that's nowhere near enough.  The casualties are currently at 34 deaths, and 56 injuries, and still counting." She informed sorrowfully.

"Officers and fire fighters are outnumbered by this rising threat.  With Bludhaven central hospital, 21st avenue, macove apartments, and recently, the down town library and court house, ablaze, hope for our city had dwindled to nothing."

Linda took a shakey breath, before speaking again.  "If you live here, then please, get out." With that, the TV screen went to black.

As the news had said, Bludhaven was illuminated with fire, and clouded by smoke.  Screams were barely heard over the raging fire, and sirens.

At the hospital, Officer Grayson appeared from around a hallway corner, frantically running.  The flames roared, and the heat stung his skin and uniform.  Over his shoulders was a fourteen year old girl, who was squealing and coughing.

"Just hang on!" He called to her, continuing to run through the blazing building.   The officer heard a creak, and groan of large structure.  He stopped dead, and looked up.

His blue eyes were wide with panic.  The roof was about to collapse.  He booked it, and found a emergency exit.  Quickly approaching it, he attempted to kick it open, with no results.

"No, no, no, nononono." He chanted, hearing the girl cough.

He gritted his teeth, and growled.  He set the girl down in the corner, and pushed agasint the door.  Even his strength as a vigilante wouldn't open it.  The door moved foward, but was halted by somthing.  Debris, mabey?

The girl coughed again, more violent.  He looked at her, feeling ever rising panic.  He heard another groan over the crackling fire, before feeling hot. Hotter than he was.  What was ringing?  What...

Bludhaven  ?:?? AM

"Over here!"

"She's dead..."

"Hey! Hey, I found him!"

"Dick? Dick!? Di-"

"Grayson...? Richard!?"

"He alive."

"Head Trauma, mabey-"

"Richard, wake up... please."

Too much work.  Honestly, it was hard for him to crack open his eyes.  The downed officer started violently coughing, and moaning.

"Finally..."  That voice was familiar.

"Damian?"  Was what Grayson tried to say.  However, it came out as a weak, horse, moan, before turning into another cough.

"Don't-"  Damian cut off.  Dick could hardly see him.  His vision was so fuzzy, and he couldn't think straight.  "Don't talk... Just- just be still."  The masked hero said.  Masked... He was Robin.  What was he doing here...?  Bruce knows he's just as territorial as him.

"Drake, can you at least try to work faster?"  Robin hissed.  Tim? Red Robin?

"I AM trying, brat!"

"Both of you, knock it off."

"Wow, spoken like a true big brother. Don't make us think you care, Hood."

"Replacement-!"

"Boys."

Dick knew all these voices. Tim, Jason, and Bruce.  He just couldn't see them.  What was he lying on? Rubble? No, his head was in Damians lap.

Wait, where was the girl?

He coughed again.  He wanted to ask, and find out, but his voice just wouldn't work.  Still, he tried again.  "G... g-gir..."  He pushed, but Jason cut him off.

"Dead."

Dick sighed, which he regretted as he felt the feeling of his burning throat protesting.  He failed.  There was no way... Bludhaven had to be burned to the ground by now, right?

He felt a sting in his mid section, which made him hiss in pain by instinct.  "Sorry."  Red Robin said quietly, wrapping his wound.

"Ha... ve..."  He tried again, having a hard time.

...

...

"Ashes."  Batman spoke, cold and blunt.

"Gee, no sugar coating? Even I'm not that harsh..." Red Hood commented.

He must have been glared at, as he soon spoke apologies.

"Update on Bludhaven fire outbreak.  48 Deaths, and... 112 injuries."  The woman said, distressed.  "Missing people, um... 7 so far.  John Walker, Magean Hardy, Kira Spain, Phill Alan, Fire Fighter Garry Reece, Karen Sing, and Officer Richard Grayson."  She listed.

"Bludhaven has been shut down, due to the suspicion of more bombs within the city..."

"That's all." She said quietly, getting up from her news desk and leaving before the camera stopped rolling.

"Why didn't you listen to me, Grayson?"
