The World Would Be Mine

If I took it all back,

If I found Vizzini,

I would be happy,

Joyful,

Elated.

No more darkness

no more loneliness

no more sadness

but no more you.

The world would be mine,

but you wouldn’t be there.

Your smile,

your smell,

the touch of your hand

would never cross my path.

We would be strangers,

faces in a crowd.

Not knowing.

Not loving.

Not living.

So all the darkness,

sadness,

loneliness,

doesn’t matter because I have you.

And I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Because the world would be mine,

but you wouldn’t
