We pulled into the driveway and I got out of the car. I walked in and I laid on the couch. I started to fall asleep when Wilmer came around the corner with something in his hand behind his back.

"Ally. Can I talk to you?"

***********************************************************************************************

"Yes?"

"I was wondering if you're ok with me taking your mom on a date? We dated for 6 years and then we broke up in 2016. We didn't fall out of love, it was just really complicated."

"Oh my god, I would love it. You're so nice and I know you'll treat her well."

Time skip till Sunday

"Allyna. Wake up. We need to leave for church."

I rolled out of bed and I went straight to the shower. I showered and put on a white dress. I did my hair and makeup and walked downstairs.

"I'm ready."

We got in the car and we drove over to church.

I handed Demi my bible and I walked backstage with the band. I got ready by as I put in my inears and grabbed my mic. I walked on stage and I stood next to Kenny, the lead. He started to play and we sung Reckless Love by Cory Asbury. We then sung Fall by The Belonging Co. I stepped forward a little bit. I glanced at the band and I nodded. They started to play the opening chords to Living Hope by Phil Wickham

How great the chasm that lay between us
How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation, I turned to heaven
And you spoke your name into the light
Than through the darkness, Your loving-kindness
Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished, the end is written
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Who could imagine so great a mercy.
What heart could fathom such boundless grace
God of ages, stepped down from glory
To wear my sin, and bear my shame
The cross has spoken, I am forgiven
The king of kings calls me his own
Beautiful savior, I'm yours forever
Jesus Christ, my living hope

The crowd went wild at this

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Then came the morning, that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me

The crowd got louder and cheered as I smiled.

Then came the morning, that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me
Jesus, Yours is the victory, woha!

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope

The music changed to acoustic

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
