I walked into the movie premier for my new movie Nerve with my co-star Dave Franco. I walked down the carpet stopping, posing and smiling with Dave. I looked around Dave to see Dylan O'Brien also on the red carpet, me and him dated for 4 years when we were teens but that was all these years ago. He looked at the camera with his arm wrapped around this girls waist, I could help but look at him, when I did it was like everything came back.

Your hair's grown a little longer
Your arms look a little stronger
Your eyes just as I remember (oh)
Your smile's just a little softer

"Y/n!" A camera guy shooted my name bringing me out of my trance, I glanced back at them one more time before sighing and smiling into the camera. 

And I, I never prepared for a moment like that

I continued down the carpet trying to forget about him as the camera people yelled my name as I smiled and posed. Dylan turned to look at me as my name continued to be yelled he said something to the girl before walking over to me as I walked off the carpet towards the interviews.  

"Y/N hey, congrats on the movie" He smiled at me and opened his mouth to say something else when the interviewer called his name. "sorry" he told me before walking off.

I stood in front of the camera as the Interviewer talked to me, "You look amazing tonight Y/N. Congrats on the leading role in the movie I bet its amazing" 

"Thank you" I smiled as I turned next me watching Dylan talk to camera with the girl holding on tight to him.

"Yeah we have been together for 6 months and I do love her, she's just amazing. I couldnt ask for anyone better, I dont even think there is anyone better" He smiled.

"aw babe" she told him before kissing him. 

Couldn't help, but overhear you
Sounds like you're happy with her
But does she kiss you like I kissed you?

"Y/N?" the interviewer asked me. 

"I'm sorry" I put on my best fake smile as I heard her giggling next to me. Everytime I heard her giggle, I could feel my heart shatter even more. 

And I, I never prepared for a moment like that

"So miss y/l/n are you seeing anyone right now?" They asked me and I was hoping he would look over to see, just a small sign he cared, but nothing. 

I shook my head, "No, still hung up on someone" I sadly smiled. 

"well any guy would be a fool not to like you back" She smiled at me sympathetically. 

"Thanks" I faked a smile. 

I finished my interview as I walked into the premier, ready to see what everyone thinks about my movie. When I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see Dylan and the girl. 

"Can't wait to see your movie, Dylan told me your an amazing actress" She smiled sweetly at me. 

"Thank you, I hope y'all enjoy it" I smiled as they walked past me, Dylan looked over his shoulder and smiled at me while I sighed.

I walked in and found my seat as the movie started, "I'm so excited" I heard the girl from earlier whisper from the seat in front of me. I couldn't not like her she was a really sweet girl, I smiled at the thought that she is really good for Dyl and they are probably really happy together. 

I forgot about them as I focused on my film, the whole reason i'm here not to pine over some boy.
