Taylor's P.O.V..
After a restless few hours of sleep, I finally gave in and got up at three in the morning. Picking my phone up on the way, I made my way downstairs and silently got to the living room. Deciding it was probably best not to put the TV on, I clicked on the games on my phone and got lost in my own world.
I was so deep in concentration that I didn't even hear Norman getting up, until he was standing right behind me.
"What are you doing up so early?" He yawned next to my ear as he wrapped his arms lightly around my shoulders.
Locking my phone, I felt my head being gently tilted back so I was facing him properly.
"I couldn't sleep." I shrugged, closing my eyes and resting my head against his cheek. "You should go back to bed." I mumbled but Norman shook his head as he sat down next to me.
"I can't get back to sleep." He mumbled, turning to face me with a playful glare.
I felt my face scrunch up in confusion and Norman let out a small sigh as he fell back against the sofa.
"I'm used to having you there." He admitted quietly, like he was embarrassed and I couldn't help but laugh. Immediately I regretted it though as I could see a mixture of humour and mischief in Norman's eyes.
Trying to move further away from him, I felt my back press against the arm of the sofa.
"You think it's funny huh?" He asked rhetorically, moving towards me slowly. I didn't even have time to react as he managed to trap me, making us both laugh uncontrollably.
"Well.. Yeah." I replied quietly as I watched his hands carefully. "Don't You Dare!" I warned as he reached down towards my sides.
As soon as Norman started to grab my sides, I tried to move away until he randomly stopped and dropped on top of me.
"Coffee?" I questioned, realizing that he probably hasn't properly woken up yet.
"You read my mind." He stated, pushing himself up and pulling me up with him.
Making my way to the kitchen, I quickly made two cups of strong coffee and walked back to Norman.
"Here." I stated, gently pushing the warm cup in to Norman's hands. Immediately he took a mouthful before setting the cup down and sitting back with a sigh of relief.
"Thank You." He barely whispered before stretching his arms out, allowing me to sit in the space next to him.
After a couple of silence filled minutes, I turned my head to face Norman properly.
"You're going to have to get used to me not being there again.." I started, drinking a bit of my coffee. "We're going home in a few hours." I added before placing my head lightly on his shoulder.
"Yeah.. Maybe." He responded quietly with a shrug of his shoulders.
Leaving the conversation there, we spent the most part of the morning sat on the sofa in comfortable conversation until it was time to pack up and get ready to go home.
"Are you ready to leave?" Norman asked, leaning against the bedroom doorway as I sent one final text to my dad to say goodbye.
"Yeah.." I sighed, pulling my suitcase off the bed and brushing past him to walk straight down the stairs.
Just as I was about to open the door to the car, I felt Norman's hand grab mine and spin me around.
"What's wrong?" He questioned quietly, looking directly in to my eyes.
