The woods were gloomy, and the moon was shaded by the darkness of the clouds. A man in a black cloak stood in the forest clearing. Two others in matching black cloaks stood behind him, one on left, and one on right. The left one was a female and the right one was a male. In front of them lied, a woman with medium brown hair, dead. She had a bag over her head that was stained with blood. Her chest was cut many times. Drawn around her was a red pentagram. There on each end of it was black candles, already lit.

"Are we ready for the ritual?" asked the cloaked woman. The leader nods. Together they all chanted:

 Dies irae, die illa

Solvet Saeclum in favilla

Teste Satan cum sibylla.

Quantos tremor est futurus

Quantos Vindex est venturus

Cuncta stricte discussurus.

Dies irae, dies illa!

The ground shook quickly, but stops.

"Did it work?" asked the cloaked woman.

  "Yes," said the leader.

Carrie couldn't sleep at all, so she took a walk. The night air was a little bit chilly. She walked through her street slowly. The city lights shown brightly. She ended up walking by a coffee shop. She paused at the end of the block. Carrie walked back towards the coffee shop. She enters and orders a frappe. Carrie sits down in a booth and looks out the window. She sees the forest, not too close but, not too far. She squints and notices something moving. It seemed to be wearing something over its body. She then sees two others behind the front person both wearing the same thing.

"What the hell?" said Carrie. She takes a sip of her frappe.

"Excuse me, may I sit with you?" Carrie jumped and turned quickly to see a woman with blue eyes and medium brown hair.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you! I'm Miyuki!" She puts out her hand. Carrie shakes it.

"I'm Carrie. I guess I don't mind if you sit here?" Miyuki smiled and sat across from Carrie in the booth. She was holding a coffee. Miyuki took a sip of her coffee.

"Carrie, you don't look like you're from here," said Miyuki.

"I'm not. Me and my twin sister, just moved here yesterday from the United States. Our mother is half Japanese," said Carrie bluntly.

"Neat! I'm from a different town not far from here!" said Miyuki. Carrie smiled, feeling less alone now.

It was finally friday, and Terrie was happy. Her and Yuto were going to go hang out after school. Asami teased her, saying Yuto was her boyfriend and usually Terrie would roll her eyes and tell her to "Shut the hell up, Asami!" The final school bell rang and Terrie ran out of science class. She went to her locker, got her bag and ran out of the school. Yuto was waiting for her outside. She smiled when she saw him.

  "Hey!" said Yuto.

"Hi Yuto!" exclaimed Terrie. "Where do you want to go hang out?"

"I want to show you this place," Yuto smiled and took her hand. Terrie blushed and held his hand too. They walked through the city and passed many big buildings. Eventually, the area got a bit more open and a road led up to an old gray building. It was near the woods. They walked approached the building and walked up the cement steps. Terrie let go of his hand and stopped walking when Yuto was about to open the wooden doors. He turned to look at Terrie.

''This the old church school. St. Hashiro, I believe was the name," He said. Terrie looked nervously at Yuto.

"There's no way in hell I'm entering this abandoned building!" said Terrie. Yuto smiled.

"It's not very old, it was only abandoned like two years ago," said Yuto. Terrie felt a little less tense.

"Ok, fine. Let's go," She said. They enter the school cautiously and shut the door behind them. The inside was dark, and there were wooden walls. Ahead of them was a colorful mural of Jesus holding his hand up. On each side of the mural was one white candle, and they were lit. Terrie pointed nervously.

"The candles are lit, yet you said this place was 'abandoned'" said Terrie.

"Shh, do you hear that?" whispered Yuto. It was quiet, but it sounded like a voice. He pointed to a door on the left of the room. "The pews are in that room." They approach the door carefully and enter it. The carpet like most of the place so far, was velvety and red. The pews also had red velvety cushions. There, at the end of the pews in the way front of the room was a nun. She was praying in front of a giant golden cross. On both sides, there were four white candles, all lit.

"We should get out of here," hissed Terrie. But, she was too late. Yuto was already approaching the nun who was on her knees. Yuto was now right behind the nun. Terrie approached him quickly and quietly. Terrie grabbed his arm and shook her head. He looked at her.

  "What?" He whispered.

"You're a fucking idiot if you plan on talking to her! Haven't you watched any horror movies before?! This place is abandoned and yet you want to talk to some random nun?!" hissed Terrie. The nun now stood up behind Yuto.

"Hello there!" said the nun. Terrie and Yuto jumped and the nun screamed at the same time as Terrie.

"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, YOU SCARED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF US!" yelled Terrie. The nun who's eyes were a pretty dark brown seemed a bit nervous and angry too.

"You're the one to say! Sneaking up on me like that!" said the nun.

"I'm sorry, but if Yuto wasn't such an idiot, we wouldn't be here!" growled Terrie as she glared at Yuto. He remained calm.

"I'm sorry, I just wasn't expecting anyone else here," said Yuto.

"Yuto is your name? I'm Sister Oana," said the nun. She smiled.

"I'm Terrie. We are deeply sorry to disturb you while you were praying," said Terrie.

"It is alright, my dear," said Sister Oana. "Why are you here? To pray too?" Yuto and Terrie shook their heads.

"We were kinda just gonna hang out here, because it's abandoned and you now, cool stuff like that," said Yuto as he shrugged. Terrie was a bit annoyed.

"So, you think it's cool to sneak up on a nun?" asked Sister Oana jokingly. "I wouldn't feel upset about interrupting me if I were you, I was already finished, and I usually don't notice people when I pray, my mind kinda just shifts and I forget everything."

"Wow, you seem religous," said Terrie as she smiled. Sister Oana nodded.

  "No kidding," said Yuto.

"So, is this a little date you and Yuto are having here?" asked Sister Oana.

"Well, this would be a hell of a first date if it was a date," said Terrie annoyed. "So, why do you come here to pray?" Sister Oana looked around.

"It's peaceful here. I like it," said Sister Oana. "It's getting dark, you guys should head home." Terrie nodded and they all exited the building. Terrie headed home, so did Yuto and Oana.

"I can't wait to tell Carrie and Asami about this!" said Terrie excitably.
