Asami and Carrie ran down the hallway, the classrooms rushing past them. They ran for what seemed like forever, the halls turning left and right until they came to a staircase leading to the second floor. Carrie plopped down, her hands covering her face. It was dark and stormy, and the ground shook. Asami jumped.

"My god, this storm is really bad!" exclaimed Asami.

"It isn't no ordinary storm," said a male voice. Asami and Carrie looked at the middle step, and saw her black cat. The eyes were red.

"You can talk!?" asked Carrie. She stood up facing the cat who looked down at Asami and Carrie. It licked its paw.

"Of course I can talk, I'm a Bakeneko!" exclaimed the cat. It stood on its hind legs and the body grew to a human size. A red kimono wrapped around it, with black lacing. Asami gasped.

  "I saw you in my-"

"Dream? I'm aware. My name is Satoshi," He said. "What's happening now is known as the 'Demon's Release.'" Carrie and Asami looked at each other, confused.

'"Demon's Release?'" asked Asami. Satoshi sighed.

"It's pretty self-exclamatory, really," said Satoshi.

"Never heard of it," said Asami. Satoshi put his paw over his face and sighed loudly.

"The legend of Dēmon no Kaihō, please don't tell me that isn't familiar!" exclaimed Satoshi, throwing his paws in the air.

"Ooooh, that! You should have just said the Japanese name in the first place!" said Asami. The cat made a face of annoyance.

"Anyways, the legend goes that long ago a man by the name of Kumori created the Shadou Cult. Their goal was to release demons such as a Futakuchi-onnas, Amabies, and-"

  "What's a fuck-a-cheetah-ana?" asked Carrie.

"It's a 'Futakuchi-onna!' The two mouthed woman. They have a mouth on the back of their head that uses their hair to grab food, as they eat twice as much as an average human!" exclaimed Satoshi.

  "Odd!" said Carrie.

"Kumori and his cult was beheaded in the end, and the demons were sealed, but now I'm afraid they're being released again!" exclaimed Satoshi.

  "What? The fuck-a-cheetah-ana?" giggled Asami.

"It's-AH forget it! You can't take this seriously, can you?! Fuck it, I'm not helping you!" yelled Satoshi. Asami glared at him.

"Listen up pussycat,  it's your own fault you didn't try to stop them!" growled Asami. The thunder boomed loudly, and it was very dark in the building.

"I tried! Why the hell else do I have this scar!" He points to his scar on his right eye. "I tried to save Miyuki, I TRIED! I was her cat, she cared so much about me!"

"Miyuki...I got meet her. She was a ghost though," said Carrie sadly. Satoshi looked at Carrie sympathetically.

"She's wonderful isn't she?" said Satoshi. Carrie smiled. An odd noise was heard from the second floor above them.

"Shh, what was that?" asked Asami.

"It sounds like someone's washing something?" said Carrie quietly.

"It's a Azukiarai. They sound as if they're washing azuki beans," whispered Satoshi.

"But don't they appear near water?" hissed Asami.

"Well, what else could it be?!" hissed Satoshi. Humming is suddenly heard.

"Um, maybe it's another nun who likes cleaning?" asked Carrie.

"Are you retarded?! There's no real nuns here except Sister Oana!" said Asami, a bit too loudly. The humming stopped. Footsteps were heard from upstairs walking towards the stairs. By now, Satoshi had shrunk back down to the normal size of a cat, and was no longer wearing the kimono, and was now standing next to Carrie. The humming continued once again, but the footsteps were now going down the stairs as the humming got louder and closer. The footsteps stopped at the middle step. They couldn't see who was standing there, as it was very dark. Asami looked up at it.

"Sister Oana?" asked Asami. It was a nun, but it had no face, not even a head. There was just emptiness inside.

"Run!" yelled Carrie. They took off, but stopped and turned back. The nun wasn't there anymore. Carrie and Asami looked down at Satoshi.

"What? I can't explain what just happened!" He said. The door leading to the entrance at the very end of the hall creaked open, loud enough for all of them to hear.
