Chapter 11

Everyone rushes to the sitting room.
"Dad, what do you mean?"
"You heard me clearly. The shareholders are withdrawing from the company. And it's at a fast pace, if they all leave the company could go bankrupt." Jared says.
"Oh my God." Miriam covers her mouth with her palm because of the shock.
"But do you know the reason?" Miriam asks.
Jared glares at Johnson but diverts his vision somewhere else but Johnson has already gotten the idea.
"It's because of me. This is Sagar's plan. He wants to cripple dad's company because I left him." Johnson looks at Bharat. "Is this your plan? You want to ruin my life and family's dignity even if it's your fault." Johnson shouts.
"Johnson, go back to Sagar." Jared says. "There's no marriage that's blissful to the end. It's for you to be strong and withstand the problems. You have to choose either your life or your family's dignity." Jared says and goes upstairs.
  Bharat leaves the house and rushes to Sagar's company. He takes the elevator to Sagar's office and when he reaches he sees Sagar making a phone call and laughing loudly. Bharat badges into the office and Sagar sees him and smirks.
"I will call you later." Sagar cuts the call snd drops the phone on the table. "What are you doing here? You came to deliver Johnson's message?" Sagar asks.
"What's wrong with you?" Bharat yells. "Is this how you want Johnson to come back by threatening his family's only source of income?"
"Yes, and I know it will work. I bet right now they are debating if he should come back. Johnson will do anything to save his father's company he just needs a little push and time." Sagar smirks.

  Johnson is seated in the living room thinking about the choice to make. He sees his father making calls and walking around the sitting room and the entire family is watching what's happening.
"I will go back to Sagar." Johnson says.
"No Johnson. You cant. Wait a little longer lets think of something to do." Miriam tries to convince Johnson but then he stands up.
"The more we wait the more the company will keep getting close to bankruptcy. I will go back. I can't bear to see if anything happens to my family." Johnson goes upstairs to his room and packs his clothes into his bag and comes downstairs.
  He stops at the living rooms and everyone is looking at him sadly.
"Why do you all look so sad? Who knows I may come back very soon. So show me some smiling faces." Johnson smiles and so does the rest of the family except for Jared.
"Should I drop you off?" Jared asks.
"No don't worry. I will go by myself." Johnson says.

   Johnson arrives at Sagar's house. He knocks on the door and it quickly opens and Durga is standing there smiling at him.
"Welcome home. We were expecting you later but you came back quicker than expected." Durga giggles. "Please come in." Durga shifts for him to enter the house.
Johnson enters the house and looks around. He sees Garg coming towards him.
"Johnson, you came back." Garg smiles.
Rochna comes from upstairs and sees Johnson.
"I thought you had left, what are you doing here?" Rochna asks.
"Have you come to apologise for cheating on Sagar?" Durga cocks her right eye brow up and smiles.
"Johnson cheated on Sagar? That's unbelievable," Rochna laughs.
Johnson walks upstairs to the bedroom and drops his luggage on the floor and begins unpacking.
After he has finished unpacking, he comes downstairs and sees Bharat discussing with Garg. Bharat smiles and comes towards him but Johnson gives him a slap in return. Durga, Garg and Rochna are shocked to see what Johnson did to Bharat.
"Never talk to me, never smile when you see me in fact lets just behave we don't know each other as long as I am in this family." Johnson walks past him to to the kitchen.
"Bharat, are you okay?" Durga asks checking her son's face for any injury. She turns back to Johnson and goes after him in the kitchen. Durga comes towards Johnson and gives him a slap.
"Who are you to slap my son?" Durga yells. "Just look are yourself, a slut who cheated on his husband on their honeymoon and you want to transfer your anger on someone innocent. This better be the last time this happens."
Johnson picks the knife on the cutting board which scares Durga  as she quickly walks out of the kitchen.
"Johnson wants to kill me." Durga shouts leaving the kitchen.
But Johnson takes and onions and begins slicing it, preparing dinner.
