A small boy moved quickly through the halls, staring straight ahead as he walked to his next class. The students around him parted like the Red Sea, some nearly slamming into other students in their attempt to avoid Izuku. He ignored the staring, and the whispers that started between the other students as he passed.
He hopped over the foot that had made its way in front of him without missing a beat, not even looking over to see who had tried to trip him in the hall. Izuku merely sighed as he continued his way to his last class of the day.
Finally, the school year was almost over and he could move onto UA. After years of dealing with the same people, he could finally start fresh with people who don't know him. He could meet people who didn't know the rumors about him, and weren't afraid of getting too close because he might "curse them". Izuku could make friends with his new classmates, after being alone for such a long time.
Izuku smiled quietly to himself as thought of his future life at UA, wondering what his classmates would be like, what they would learn, and who his teachers would be. He listed each of the heroes he knew worked at UA to Senka, attempting to figure out exactly which would be most equipped to teach class 1A as their homeroom teacher.
Present Mic? No, I don't think he could be trusted with a group of teenagers with powerful quirks.
Nezu? He's the principal.
Midnight? ...I don't think that would be a very good idea..
How about Lunch Rush? Lunch duty.
Recovery Girl? I think she would be interesting. Yeah, but she'd be too busy as the school nurse to teach a class.
Blood King? Ooh that'd be fun, I like his quirk.
Well.. who else works at UA? That's everyone I know of. Maybe it'll be someone new! Or an underground hero! That would be so cool! Hmm.. Maybe.
Izuku was only half aware of his surroundings as he arrived to his last class, still too focused on his conversation with Senka. He pulled open the door quietly and walked swiftly into the classroom, ignoring the way all conversation in the room ceased the moment they noticed he had entered. He passed each desk quickly on his way to his own, hearing Senka snicker at how the other students flinched away when he passed by. Weaklings, he hissed. They worship the ones that flaunt their "strength", but do nothing but tremble and sneer at true power.
Izuku sighed internally at Senka's comments, finally arriving and sitting at his desk. As he shifted into a more comfortable position in his seat, he took the chance to survey the classroom. While most of his classmates were pointedly avoiding his gaze and reengaging in conversation, one student in particular was looking very pointedly at him.
Bakugou, who was sitting a row away, has twisted his body to the side so that he could glare at Izuku wordlessly. For a moment, Izuku and Bakugou stared at each other, daring the other to make a move. Izuku chose to end the staring contest with a very pointed eye roll.
"What do you want, Bakugou?" He said, making sure to enunciate each syllable of Bakugou's surname as he spoke.
Instead of responding, Bakugou simply sneered at him before looking away, mumbling something about a "Creepy fucking Deku" as he turned to face the front of the room.
Bitch.
Izuku glared at the back of Bakugou's head for a few seconds, thinking less than pleasant things about his childhood friend, before shaking himself out of his thoughts when the teacher walked in.
