Blue was in awe. A strange, starry cat stood before her. He stepped closer and she began to recognize him. "Tiger?" she asked, astounded. He brushed cheeks with her "That's me." 'Oh I missed you so much!" purred Blue. Tiger asked "How are our kits?"  "The kits are fine." she replied. She breathed in her mate's scent once more before he pulled away.

He shook himself as if he were wet. "That is not why I am here." She looked confused, so he continued, "I am here to deliver to you a prophecy." Blue looked even more so confused as he went on with an unearthly voice "One with spirit of lion, tiger, and leopard will save many cats from disaster and hardship, he will travel afar to save these cats, and his great story shall be told for moon to come."

Blue was silent for some time before she spoke, "Why have you chosen to share this with me?" As the starry cat began to fade, he whispered, "When it is time, you will know." WAIT!" Blue wailed. "I don't understand!" But he was already gone.

With a jolt, Blue woke up. "MOMMA WE'RE HUNGRY!!!!" Yowled a purplish-grayish kit sitting next to her. "Okay Lavender." She said as she sighed and lay out a few beetles in front of her three kits. "Eww!" Said a white and ginger tabby-tom as he wrinkled his tiny muzzle in disgust, "I don't want that! Can't we just have milk like we used to?" She slumped her shoulders in defeat, "As of now, I have no milk for you Fang." As she looked at her kits, her gaze rested on her third kit, Spirit. The white and grey tabby tom was gazing thoughtfuly at nothing in particullar. He had always been very thoughtful. Then his nose twiched once, and he got up, bounded over to the food, and began to gobble it down hungrily. At the longlegstreet, there never seemed to be enough food, ecspecially since there were many other cats that lived there, so Blue and her kits mostly ate bugs.

"Oh Tiger," she whispered sorrowfully, "How will our kits and I ever stay alive in such a horrid place?" She thought she heard a soft whisper that said "I will be with you always"
