Chapter 1 - Weird Sightings
Take it from me, never go to park with your friends after 6 o'clock PM. It's dangerous. Especially if you're a clumsy klutz like me. First off its practically pitch black outside and your conscious mind can.... Lets just say... your conscious mind starts to wander. Which sort of why your parents don't let you go. But, being me, I'd do anything to spend time with my friends. So, just like a lot of other teenagers... I snuck out. But, by now my parents probably have found out, so I'm in deep trouble.
Hi. My name is Rosalyn Collinberg and I'm 18. I have dark black hair with dark brown highlights, so you can say I'm a brunette. I have bluish green eyes and pale skin.
To sum up my personality, I'm a 15-year-old girl with big expectations from life, expectations that are flooding my mind and seeping into my life.
I might do anything to spend time with my friends but that doesn't mean I'm social. Ever since I was born, I was taught to only care about my education, everything else like gossip in school, didn't matter. And, your probably thinking, wow that's a good thing, but considering I'm in high school now; it's hard. I've almost completely blocked all social aspects out from my life and I'm regretting it right now. All I care about in high school now, is getting straight A's, considering I'm a dork.
"Rose!!"
Tess's voice snapped me back to reality. Reality, I didn't want to face. I knew I wasn't supposed to be here, but since I wanted to change myself from being the dumb no-it-all, I came - knowing the consequences.
Tess O'Donnell was one of my best friends, ever since I was really young. She was a bit shorter than I was. She was a braniac, like me, but she was also a lot more social. She has brown hair and dark brown eyes. She almost camouflaged into the night because she was wearing black.
"Huh?"
"Coming or not?"
We were only a couple yards away from my house, and I realized my friends were already crossing the street.
"Coming!"
I ran to catch up to my group of friends. The houses on my street were actually really scary looking at night. Funny, because I never noticed, and I've lived on 158 Arch Road almost all my life. The light inside almost each house was on and looked yellow. The houses looked black and almost camouflaged into the night sky. Almost every roof shimmered from the glaze glare of the moon.
We all laughed and joked around for a while. Basically while everyone at home was snugly getting ready for bed, we were outside having a great time.
After while of watching people get drunk, we decided to sneak into a dance party. Since almost every one was drunk, I had to drive. Which wasn't a problem obviously.
Sure, the people who weren't 18 yet had fake IDs to prove that they were legal adults, but I wondered if I would be the one blamed because I was the only person here with full senses.
The security guard let everyone in, eying suspiciously at the 17 year olds. As everyone else entered the crowd of people dancing, I sat down at the bar.
"Excuse me mam, what would you like?"
It took me a moment to realize the bartender was talking to me. My head held in my hands, from all the tiredness from school I wanted to go to sleep. I could hardly see his face in pitch-black room. All I could make out was his black skin and long black hair. The music was blaring in my ear.
"Too Tequilas for her"
Ethan Riordan answered before me.
I turned my chair around to glare at him, but instead of glaring I ended up smiling.
