Chapter 2

Chapter2: Who are you?

On the edge of the mountain, I was there standing. Hinahabol ko yung hininga ko. I am so desperately losing my self control and crying in pain.

I was running away. Trying so hard to escape from someone's hand.

I woked up in the middle of the night, trying to catch my breath.

Ang mga hikbi ang bumalot sa buong silid. That was the eight year old me running away. This one keeps following me. I want to forget but it's hunting me. It's chasing me. It just won't leave me.

And the thing is...

"Hija, Lea called earlier and was asking for you. Nagpaalam siya samin ng Daddy mo that you'll be going out tonight." Grandpa stated.

"What? You should've cancelled her calls 'Lo." damn it. Lea again. That impudent cousin!

"You should socialize your self more, hija. You should make friends." arghh. Friends friends.

"No thanks. I'm fine with just my self naman 'Lo. No need for fake creatures."

Lolo laughed.

"Then just go with them. Wala namang mawawala, hija."

isang tango nalang ang ipinakita ko bago sumagot. Wala naman akong magagawa e.

"Okay, Grandpa."

"And one more thing, hija. Lea told me that you should dress up more tonight. I guess she's going to show you something."

tumango nalang ulit ako. it's kinda tiring arguing everytime you know.

Anyways, Lea is my cousin from my Dad's side. And that Ria the other time, she's from my Mom's. And I prefer Lea over that Ria. Lalala

"Hey there cousin!!!! I've missed you so much!! OMG!! You're so pretty!!"  Napaka oa na naman niya. She's always been like this since then.

"Stop it Lea. What are you up again?" I said as I rolled my eyes.

"You're so straightforward naman e! Hahaha! By the way, you don't plan on telling me that you're here in the Philippines right?! You're really cold as ever!" she screamed like as if she's never seen me ages--  err, oo nga pala, it's really AGES!

"Exactly. Let's go so I could go home right away. Let's finish your nonsense."

"Go home agad? No way!!" she smiled.

I'm not surprised when this cousin of mine brought me to a bar. Tss!

I honestly don't like the idea of bars and such. I've never find the enjoyment and chills in this. I'd rather stay at my room, cuddling all my pillows with earphones. Gawd. So annoying.

Hours passed and Lea was there-- at the dance floor--dancing. Paminsan minsan siyang bumabalik sa lamesa namin at ang laging sinasabi ay mukha daw akong matamlay. And i didn't replied in her comments. It's true anyways. I just stayed here at the table---observing the scenery.

"So before we go home, I want you to meet someone!!"

"Seriously Lea? You're a pain in the ass! You're drunk! Let's go home!"

"Come here! It won't take an hour! You're so kj!" damn it.

She pulled me upstairs and went on the VIPs. Fck it. That's why I really hate her going to bars.

"Hi! This is my cousin, Zeiryne Phei Lim!" nagulat ako nang nasa harap na kami ng isang lalaki. And to my surprise, ako ang pinapakilala ng isang to!

The man just looked at Lea and to me. Back to Lea and to me again. He just smirked and shooked his head before clenching his jaw.

He didn't mind us. He just looked at us.

What the hell?

This is Zeiryne Phei Lim in front of him! It's Zei! A Lim! Damn it! I'm not seeking attention but this one is just so argh! Did he just rejected me? Did he just ignored the shit out of me?-- wait, I'm not bargaining myself pala! Why the hell did I reacted that way?!

I pulled Lea and before leaving, I rolled my eyes at the man. Kala mo ha!

"How rude. Still rude." the man stated.

nagulat ako dahil may dinugtong na naman ito. At dahil sa ingay, hindi ko narinig ang iba nitong sinabi.

still rude? do i know him?

but wait--ako nga ba yung tinutukoy?

I faced him.

"I don't usually talk to stranger---"

"But you're talking to me right now."

tumikhim ako roon. he's unbelievable!

"Because you've got the guts to throw accusations at me! " i exclaimed. "In case no one taught you that you shouldn't be talking to strangers, then might as well remember this as a lesson." i smiled fakely. "Just take it as my gift for such a rude dude. Ps. I'm not preaching you!" i said and rolled my eyes.

"Longest speech ever heard from you so far. Didn't know you're talkative at times." he said mocking me.

"Who.....are you?," i said almost whispering.

i was stunned by his words that my mouth run dry. hindi na ako nagsalita and stormed out of that damn vip room!

What the hell?
