The airship landed in a hotel that was owned by the hunter association. The ten applicants got out of the airship in a line as Netero explained the next phase.
"For the Final Phase, we will be holding a one-on-one tournament." Netero said as someone from the hunter association rolled in a board covered by a white sheet, which was soon removed by Netero exposing a fighting brackets arrangement.

"So only the last person standing passes?" Leorio mumbles to himself.
"No. One win is all you need to pass" Netero says as everyone looks at him confused. "The winners are removed from competition, while the losers continue up the bracket." Making it a bit clearer to us. Netero moves forward to peel the bottom part of the fighting chart.

'I see... at least I don't fight Gon or Killua. Still it will be hard to watch them without being able to help...' I think as everyone else tense up at the results.
"Impressive! Right? After all everyone has at least two chances to win." Netero boasts proudly.
"But some people, like #294 and #405 get five chances." Pokkle points out. The other contestants agree and question the fighting arrangements were put together.
"This bracket was assembled based on your performances throughout the entire exam" Netero continues to explain. "Those who performed better received more chances." He points out. 'Huh so my performance wasn't as good as Gon's or Hanzo's were.' I think as I feel Killua tense up.
"That doesn't sound right." Killua said slightly annoyed. "Can you explain how you scored our performance?" He asks. 'I get why he is annoyed, Its gotta be tough for him being scored low when he is so strong.' I think as I nod silently to myself. Netero goes silent before replying.
