We arrived at whale island along with Gon and Killua. It's been so long since I've been here. Last time I came here was six months ago, when I took the ship to the exam and met Gon,kurapika and Leorio. 'It feels like such a long time' I think as I let a nostalgic sigh.
Once the boat decked on the island Gon got down enthusiastically and dragged us all the way up a hill. He kept telling Killua and I anecdotes about his years growing up with Mito-san.
"Mito-san! Mito-san! Mito-saaaan!" Gon yelled as he sprinted the rest of the way up the hill, running towards Mito-san that was putting the clean sheets to dry. Gon jumped and embraced her and she welcomed him home.

Killua and I made our appearance a bit later as we weren't bothered to run up the hill, finally catching up with Gon we hear the woman say. "You must be Killua and (y/n), right?" Mito-san said giving us a friendly smile as she let us in the house and served us some tea and biscuits.
"Sheesh. You should've let me know you were coming home. Your friends came all the way here and I didn't have time to prepare anything" mito-san rambled on.
"No,it's okay." Killua said a bit uncomfortable with the situation.
"It's on us for just showing up like this." I said trying to offer Mito-san some peace of mind. Mito-san then proceeded to let out a relieved sigh as she smiled at us.
"Oh, that's right. Take a bath while I make something to eat. And put out your dirty clothes." Mito-san commanded "I'll be doing laundry." At the sight of Gon not doing anything Mito-san started counting down.
"Is she always like this?" Killua asked while Gon appeared behind him telling him it was normal and proceeding to take killuas clothes off, so they can be put out to wash.

'Kyaa...' I covered my face as I started to blush madly. Killua quickly noticed and began blushing too, giving out to Gon as they went up the stairs to bath. 'Gon is so lucky... w-what am I thinking.'
