"Ruby!" I tried to call for my sister for help, but it was already too late. The shopping cart was almost all the way down the isle. I tried to fly, but my wings were torn, and they wouldn't heal for at least another week.
I passed several dragons watching me. I really wished they would all just disappear.
I crawled around inside the shopping cart, but it was pretty full. I saw something weird behind a jug of milk and a bottle of soda. What looked like blue and gold scales appeared to be shifting around. I tried to get a better glimpse of what it was, but it was obscured by cans of corn and fruit cocktail. I knew not to climb the cans, as it would make noise, and the jug of milk and bottle of soda couldn't be climbed. Apparently I would have to wait to see what it was.
The cart stopped, and a lady started taking items out of the bag. Trying not to be seen, I scampered into a bag of potatoes. Being the hungry little dragon I was, I decided to eat one of the potatoes. What have I done? I asked myself after eating nearly half of the entire potato. Won't whoever bought these notice this? I decided to act as the half of the potato I had eaten, and hoped nobody would notice. As the bag of potatoes was being taken out of the cart, I got a better glimpse of what the blue and gold-scaled thing looked like. I didn't know about the rest, but one thing was for sure... it had eyes. And there were four of them.
