Chapter 8: We've Gotta Stop Her

"It's been a while hasn't it?" Nancy asked me.

"Y-yea it has." I said kinda nervously.

"Is something wrong?" She asked me.

"Oh no, It's just a bit chilly out here." I lied while acting like I had a shiver run down my back.

"You're right, let go inside my house." She said as she turn on her heels and walked back inside her house. 'Fuck! I was only suppose to distract her." I thought as I looked over to the bushes Rose was hidden in. I gave a pained look before I signaled for her to initiate the plan. With a thumbs up from her out of the bushes, I started my walk into Nancy house. I walked inside shutting the door behind me, making sure I didn't lock it, just in case I need a quick escape. Out of all the times I've been to Nancy's house, it always seems to have this empty feeling. 'But now that I mention that, I've never seen Nancy parents. Actually she herself has never spoken about them or there sudden absence.'

"Ahem" Nancy cleared her throat pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Ohh sorry I was lost in thought, what was that again?" I asked.

"I said would you like tea or coffee?" She asked again.

"Coffees fine." I spoke as she went back into her kitchen to prepare the drinks. I took my seat on one of the couches in the living room. Taking note that they felt brand new, like no one has ever sat on them. 'Weird' I thought as I began to scan her living room. I began noticing that there wasn't any family photos, actually there were not photos at all. The living room was just dull and boring, with a simple flat screen TV hanging on the wall and violet curtains covering the two windows.

"Do you want cream and sugar in your coffee?" Nancy asked from the kitchen.

"Yes please." I informed her. Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket, I reached inside and pulled it out. There on the front screen was a message from Rose.. I unlocked it immediately and began to read the message.

Help!!!

From: Jay

With??

From: Rose

The window, it's locked!!

From: Jay

Lol ughhh you useless bitch, hang on a sec.

"It's pretty late to be texting people?" Nancy said entering the living room with a tray of cookies and two cups of coffee. 'Note to self don't drink the coffee" I thought as she handed me my cup.

"Hang on, before I drink this, let me make some room for it. Restroom?" I asked.

"Ohh upstairs, second door to the left." She informed me before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Thanks." I said getting up and walking out of the living room. When I was out of eye sight, I quickly rushed up stairs, and straight for Nancy's room. Entering the room I scanned the dark room for the window. Finding it hidden behind a curtain, I quickly walked over and moved the curtain out the way.

"Eek." I squealed covering my mouth quickly to conceal the sound. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw Rose's face pressed against the window like and idiot. Quickly I unlocked the window and dragged her ass inside.

"Haha your face was priceless" Rose laughed out, irritating me more.

"Shut the fuck up before she hears us" I whispered while walking over to the door.
