"So I see Cameron is talking to those girls again, are you okay"
Ara shuddered as she gazed across the cafe. He wasn't hers. Actually far from it. As far as she was concerned, he was barely aware of her existence. She wish he knew how strongly she felt. How much it burned too see him with other girls. She knew it was wrong but what else was she supposed to so? It wasn't healthy to sit at the sidelines and watch it happen over and over and over again.
Ara knew her emotions started to become unstable when strong emotions arose so she simply stood up and walk out as if nothing was wrong.
PV Shift
Cameron had been keeping an eye on Ara for awhile now. Acting as if it was by chance that they would end up at the same coffee shop, same aisle in the library, take the same route home even though he lived the opposite direction. Ara even seem to notice his presence.
He watched her leave the cafe and took note of which direction se went. After a few minutes, Cameron quietly excused himself from the three blind mice and slipped out of the cafe.
PV Shift again (lmao sorry just spit balling ideas)
Ara decided to take the long way home. There was no way her powers were going to chill out and she definitely didn't need parents/roommate finding out. She wasn't even sure of how she had kept it a secret so far. The powers had appeared a few years ago after a particularly bad mood swing.
As she walk down the side of an empty road, she started hearing familiar whispers. A few months after her powers appeared was when the voices started. Barely audible, she was never able to make out what they were saying. She was frightened when they first started but she was used to it now.
Just then a rush of wind blew a tree branch past her feet. Then insistent howling of the wind didn't bring her any comfort.
Startled, Ara looked around only to hear faint foot steps behind her.
"Hello? Who's there?" Ara echoed to the supposed direction of the footsteps.
Instead of a reply, a omniscient chuckle returned her call.
"Please I haven't done anything, I am just going home!" Ara was terrified but she did have a last resort but she had never openly tried to use her powers in this way.
Suddenly another branch came hurdling through the sky. As if she had done it a million time, Ara dusty green shield rose to the challenge.
Shift perspective (This one is better I promise)
Cameron was trailing behind Ara, not in a creepy stalker way, just a what are you doing way. He knew her usual path home so when he saw her go a different way, he wanted to make sure she was okay. Not even five minutes in , he felt a strong breeze enough to knock one off their feet, he rounded the corner and noticed Ara with a strange light around her as a branch barely missed her small form.
"Very nice, your powers seem to be advancing" a voice that he could not identify said, "I think its time we bring you back."
A figure began to form behind Ara and being the logical person he is, Cameron grabbed a good sized log and whacked him across the head.
Ara glared at him with an astounded expression before looking at her feet. A guy looking to be in his late teens laid sprayed across the middle of the road.
"What do we do now" Cameron questioned as if either one of them had ever been in this situation.
"Well we can't exactly take him to the hospital or call the police without exposing ourselves.." Ara trailed off, seemingly speechless.
"Can we take him back to your place?"
Ara seemed to snap back to reality and shook her head viciously. "Absolutley not. My parents don't even know about-" Ara abruptly stoped.
"Well my parents are on a business trip for 2 weeks so as long as he doesn't break the house we should be fine there."
