"Carl!" I whisper yelled. "Yes?" He responded. "Hi." "Shut up Skye." I rolled my eyes at his comment, even though I knew it was a joke. "I need to get out of here." I told him. "Just you?!" He said, clearly offended. "Look, you have no idea how I grew up, do you? I was literally sent here to get a friend of mine when I found out that the Zombie Apocalypse started!" "What do you mean by sent here?" "Yeah, I'm not keeping it a secret anymore." I opened up my locket and my super suit fell out and expanded, as well as my weapons. I put on my helmet, but temporarily left it open. I changed into a gray tank top, red leather jacket, gray pants that fit like skinny jeans, my metal boots that were made by Tony Stark who is currently on another version of Earth (long story), and my holsters(MEDIA). I put my blasters in my holsters and tied my dirty blonde hair up into a ponytail. I put my clothes in my locket and tucked it away. "Look babe, there are a lot of things I haven't told you. I know that you met me at age 13 and that were 18.5 now, but you know nothing about how I was raised defeating monsters around the galaxy with my family. It's been five years since I saw them and I need to save this planet too. I only had to observe for a few more months, but I can't risk you dying, so I'm doing this now. Just remember that I love you. I'll see you in a couple of minutes." I told him before turning my mask on so it covers my face. "Star Lady to the rescue." I said to my self as I grabbed my katana with a red handle and walked over to the door, letting a couple walkers in. I killed them before walking outside and getting the rest of them. I huffed out a breath as walked inside and turned my mask off so you could see my face. I looked around to look for Carl who was no where in sight. I searched the entire house before finding an open window. He left. A tear silently rolled down my cheek.

I slid part of my bracelet, triggering access to my hologram FaceTime. I clicked the call button. "This is Skylar Victoria Quill reporting that it is time to start the clearing, but be careful, there are still some living people. Don't get bit or scratched by the walkers or you are as good as dead." I said. "Good to hear from you kiddo. We're on our way." Rocket told me. I nodded and hung up.

I turned my mask on and hopped up on the roof of the house. I stared up at the sky. The love of my life left me. I'm all alone. Another tear rolled down my cheek. I grabbed my Walkman an put in my tape. I listened to one of my favorites, Brandy (You're A Fine Girl) by Looking Glass. Yes, I'm still stuck in the old days. I left one of my head phones on the side of my head and only turned my Walkman 1/3 of the way up. I lied down on the roof and continued to watch the stars, looking for my family.

After a few hours, I texted them on my holographic device and told them to text when they are almost on this Earth. I got up off the roof as I turned off my Walkman and used my shoes to land safely on the ground. I grabbed my backpack and my katana. I walked around the woods in attempt to find Carl. I tried to trace my steps back to camp the way Carl would. I saw a dim fire not far away. I quietly walked over to it, katana ready just incase.

I slowly approached the fire and saw some familiar faces. My group. "Skylar? Where's Carl?" Rick asked. I looked down. "He ran off. I can't find him anywhere, but you It's need to get out in the open, it's a long story but-" I was cut of by my arm buzzing lightly. They called. I answered as I rolled my eyes. "This is Skylar Quill, reporting from Earth. What's going on?" I ask after opening my holographic communication system. "Skye, where approaching the atmosphere in five minutes. We will land two minutes after entering. Be prepared." Mom, Gamora, informed me. "Got it."

I told her, turning off the hologram and putting it away. "What was that?" Rick asked. "Its a long story, but we have to get out in the open." They were hesitant, but followed me out to a road. "Follow this road and you'll find a field. Stay there, but don't set up camp just yet. I have to find Carl." I told them. I started walking back down the road in the opposite way when Daryl grabbed my wrist. I turned to face him. "Be careful." He told me. I gave him a nod and walked about 10 feet away from them before flying up with the power of my shoes. I turned my mask on and scanned part of the forest best I could.

After two minutes of scanning, I saw fast movement through the trees. I saw a sheriff's hat running towards camp. I dove down and landed directly in front of Carl. "It's not safe here. We need to get out in the open Carl. My family is coming to save us. They will put us on a ship and we will collect all of the people who are still alive. We have the ability to dis-infect everyone who hasn't been bit, scratched, or turned. Please, come with me." He looked at me like he did trust me. It broke my heart. "I already have the group in a safe area. Please?" I asked more sincerely. He looked down and let out a deep breath. "Fine."

I gave him a hug and while we were hugging, I started flying us to the field. As soon as we landed by the group, I turned on the force field around us and waited for my family. Not even 54 seconds later, a ship came from the sky and landed next to
