Jin had to sprint back to the shop. He knew he was going to be in trouble. He reached the shop, breathing heavily. On entering the shop, he was welcomed with a "Where the hell were you?!"
"I-I'm really sorry, Sir." Jin hung his head low and bowed apologetically.
Mr. Lee wasn't your typical tyrant employer. Yet, even the best boss could lose his temper on a bad day. He sighed seeing him apologize.
"I did not expect this from you. Where were you? And how could you just leave the shop?"
"I-I was actually just-" Jin began but stopped when a hand was placed on his arm, instructing him to stop.
"He was running an errand for me. I shouldn't have sent him when there was no one at the shop. Sorry, Mr. Lee." Mrs. Jung apologized. Jin looked at her in protest. It wasn't her fault. She didn't have to cover up for him. Yet she did, and Jin knew it was wrong.
The old lady only smiled as Mr. Lee bought her explanation. He respected her, and would never go against her words. If it was a matter of helping her, Mr. Lee didn't mind.
