Nogla woke up screaming at two in the morning, startling Delirious, Evan, and Brock awake. When his screaming stopped, he sat up from his spot on the floor, looked to his closest friend, who happened to be Brock, and asked, concerned and frightened, "Where's Brian?" Brock looked confused.
"We should be asking you that." He said. "He was with you last."
"Oh, no. No! Brian, no!"
"What happened?" Brock asked.
"Ohm!" Nogla explained. "We went over there to get the fuckin' Pro-Controller! I heard a fuckin' noise, man! I go to look and Brian's on the floor, fuckin' Ohm shot him with this red gun. I go to check on him and he opened his eyes and started smiling. His eyes were red and they looked fuckin' crazy. Ohm was gonna shoot me, too, but I got out of there and came here! He still has Brian! We have to go get him!"
The group was startled by the story and they didn't hesitate. They picked up Nogla, hopped in a car, and were on their way to Ohm's house. Nogla didn't wait for the car to stop before he jumped out and rushed the door down, knocking it off its hinges. He had noticed when he jumped out that the car he and Brian had taken to get there was gone and he felt a dread come over him. He ran straight to the back of the house, the last place he had seen Brian, and went cold when he didn't find him. He didn't find anyone. He panicked.
"...Brian?" He said softly, his voice cracking as he grew weak with grief. He fell on one knee. "...Brian?" He said again, softer as he tried to fight back tears. Delirious, Evan, and Brock had finally made it inside and found Nogla in his current position. They caught him at a terrible time as his sadness quickly turned into rage.
"Ohm!" He screamed. He stood to his feet and began to check every room and kick down every door. "Ohm, you fuck!" But he wasn't there anymore. He was far away, somewhere with Brian. "Where the fuck did he go?" Nogla whispered under his breath.
"What now?" Brock asked.
"Someone has to know where he is." Evan said. "Let's start asking around."
"Let's ask Mini!" Delirious suggested.
"Even if he doesn't know," Brock began, "he'd be able to figure it out. I'm sure."
Nogla took a deep breath. His feelings of rage, however, did not disappear. He simply stored them away, because the next time he saw Ohm, he would come back for it.
