Letting your guards down

Tahnee-Kaye's POV :I tried to cover it up with a laugh as I sighed "It's fine, I'm just very guarded and I like to be in control at all times you shouldn't apologize come on let's do this" he smiled even bigger if that was even possible and grabbed my arm as we flew back down on the ground .

Once we were on the ground I saw villagers walking as children in chiton ran playing with each other, I smiled to myself as we approached a hut near a lit campfire "What is this," I said looking at him nervously, he hushed me quietly and motioned me forward "Aweh uitverkore" I don't know why but I understood what he said, he called me the chosen one and the young warriors greeted me as they all bowed.

"Here is where we will train and where you will rest in the women's facility" He grinned as he grabbed a bo staff and got into a defensive position and smirked at me"Show me what you know chosen one" I was not one to argue so I grabbed the bo staff as I launched myself at him he blocked my way and poked and aimed at me leaving me shocked at his amazing skills and I was not into being a show off but the others were staring so I did a tumble mid-air landing on my left foot and struck at his bo staff one time as his bo staff shattered.

"That is what I call Tahir Nohar an advanced technique used long ago by Chinese Shaolin warriors," I said while trying to catch my breath as everyone cheered

Judas came up to me smirking as he shook my hand"Good match you are talented truly magnificent, Tahnee-Kaye" I don't remember telling him my name and I wasn't going to ask I just smiled and nodded.Later that night, a loud wind was awakening the women facility I got up and wrapped a blanket draping it over my shoulders and grabbed a flashlight.

"Go back inside it's dangerous at night," an older woman said looking at me angered and shook her head.

I scoffed then felt a force as I screamed at the top of my lung then I felt my body being lifted off the ground I open my eyes to see Judas carrying me"I can't let you out of my sight can I, trouble ?"

I was still a little shaken up so I just laid my head in the crook of his neck as walked back to the tent "Go back to sleep, I'll see you in the morning" he laid me down on my mattress and I tried to sleep but the fear of what could've happened if he wasn't there scared me .

The next morning I woke up in pain I winced as I looked down at my arm, I saw a scratch on my elbow and went to the bathroom.I got ready then headed out to the tree houses to get breakfast when I heard my name "Tahnee, come here"

I heard Judas motion me over I walked up to him and smiled at him "Hey about last night something was in the woods I advise you to no longer walk around alone" he said hushed.

Once we got back to the training headquarters everyone was passed out then a gust of wind whooshed passed us "Run, get away from here" Judas pushed me out of the way and I made a force field then struck the mini tornado that threw itself at me,I manage to get the figure out my way but my attempts to get away failed as something grabbed me.

So our girl Tahnee-Kaye met Judas, do you think they'll be great partners or something else?
