Cyrus' POV
"Hey Cyrus" I heard Buffy say as she walked up to me.

"Hey Buffy" I replied.

"So you are coming to my game tonight right?" Buffy asked.

Its Friday and its Buffy's first game since she formed the all girls basketball team.

"Of course! I already made my sgin" I said excitedly.

"Another sign, what does it say this time?" Buffy asked giggling.

"It's a surprise you'll have to wait and see" I replied smirking.

Buffy continued to giggle as we headed to our next class.

"Ok class today we are starting a new project" the teacher said.

'Oh great another project and person I might get paired with that I don't know' I thought aggravated.

"I will be picking your partners. Cyrus you'll be with Tj" the teacher said paring us up.

"Hey Cyrus" Tj said as he sat next to me.

"Hey" I replied with a small smile.

"So do you want to come to my house after school so we can work on our project?" Tj asked.

"Sure" I replied packing up my stuff since its almost lunch time.

*Ring!!*

"Ok class that is the bell. Remeber class this project is due in two weeks so have it done by then. Good luck and have fun" the teacher said as students were leaving.

"Hey Cyrus" Buffy said as she sat down with someone I never seen before.

"Hey Buffy, whose this?" I asked pointing to the guy sitting next to Buffy.

"Cyrus this is Marty. Marty this Cyrus" Buffy said introducing us.

"Nice to meet you Cyrus" Marty said with a smile.

"You too" I said a little concerned.

I don't know if I can trust new people since what happened with Andi and Jonah.

After school at Tj's

*Knock knock*

"Hey Mr. Kippen I'm Cyrus Goodman is Tj home?" I asked a little nervous.

"Tj your friend is here!" She yelled from the door.

"Hey Underdog" Tj said as he greeted me at the door.

"Underdog?" I asked confused.

"Yeah I just thought about it now, what do you think?" Tj asked smiling.

"Its ok I guess" I replied.

"Ok cool. Come in so we can start on our project" Tj said as he invited me in.

As I enter Tj's house I feel a little uneasy. I know that he apologize for what happend in the past and everything but I still don't trust him completely.

"So do you have any ideas for our since project?" Tj asked causing me to loose my train of thought.

"I was thinking about doing a volcano" I replied not sure if he was going to like that idea.

"I don't know don't you think its a little boring? I mean everyone does a volcano" Tj said.

"I know I just thought that it would be easy and well get a good grade" I said.

After about two hours of discussing what we should do for our project I checked my phone and saw I got 12 missed calls from my mom and 23 missed texts from Buffy

Cyrus your still coming right?

Cyrus where are you?

Come one Cyrus pick up

The game is about to start

Cyrus...

As I kept reading the texts I realized that I missed Buffy's game. I then see that my mom left me a voice mail and I listened to it.

Cyrus this is your mother were are you? You know your supposed to come straight home after school! You damn brat, your useless as ever never telling me where your going. Whatever get kidnapped or die for all I care.

I sat there with tears flowing down on my cheek as I listened to the voice mail and then it ended.

"What's wrong?" Tj asked concerned.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been updating in awhile. I've been super busy and had writers block but now I'm back from my hiatus and ready to write again.
