Chapter 1

Four years I have been waiting here like this. Stalking the woods at night for the sight of one person who have taken my heart away from me. Four years since that night has passed. Three years since he had left me alone in this mess. Three years since Alpha Daniel Kingston had been gone off the radar no one knows where.

Not that I want to know where he had been off to. I just want my revenge for that eventful night. He left me there confused just after he had made love to me. No he said I was his mate and he left me after. I never talked about this to anyone. How could I? And what am I going to say?

"Aunt Amara" I looked from my crouching position to two little goof balls. Victor and Talia, the son and daughter of my brother Ronan and his second chance mate Paige. "Yes Vic" I said. "Mommy said that you should come and play with us."

Ever since Paige had learned about my mate Daniel and his disappearance she was trying to cheer me up so as Destiny. They just want me to go out and live the life of a teenager when it last. But when my friends have finding their mates I am still mateless.

Oh no let me rephrase that. I am not mateless. My mate is just a coward and he disappeared from the face of the earth. I shied and got down from the window. I walked out of my designated room. The one that I had been residing since I had graduated from my high school and I am now training to be an elite warrior.

I walked to the hallways of the castle. I heard the laughter of Paige and Destiny. Destiny was carrying her first. The royal heir. And this is the most tensed time of the kingdom. Also since Daniel is missing it is putting on pressure on his pack. His beta is now acting alpha.

I still haven't told anyone about one fair night and our encounter. The steamy night when we bared our soul to each other or so I thought I did. Somehow I feel without even me knowing that he was my mate my brother somehow knows that what I was going through. I can see it in his looks. He looks sad when he looks at me.

Paige and Destiny looked at me and smiled. Paige was a great sister. What is more perfect that she was down to earth and she was always helping everyone in need. Destiny too had a rough start in life with Xander rejecting her she had the hardest hit but all of us had our sob stories mine is just unknown yet.

I have almost Zero friends and I don't have a boyfriend because my last one had found his mate. And the mate bond is the strongest in this whole world something given by goddess which anyone cannot deny. Then How could he deny it? I sometimes think how the third most feared Alpha in the world is MIA. '

"Hey how are you doing? We haven't seen you much after you started at the academy." Paige hugged me. "Just being busy with combat lessons" I said looking at them pressing a fake smile on my face. It couldn't get any more faker than this.

"You will be a good warrior I just know it Paige but your brother and I both want you to live the life of happiness like every seventeen year old should. You will not got back this life again so we wanted you to live it your fullest" Paige said.

"I am living my life at fullest ma..." I said softly looking at her. Yes I call Paige Ma since the day I met her because she is that to me a mother I never had and Destiny is my best friend so as a best friend I protected her at the expense of my life. And the children were my life. Maybe I could never have my own but doesn't mean I cannot love them to death.

"Amara your brother is calling you" Paige said. I shied and walked away towards the academy. My brother is the combat instructor for the Academy. We call it the Royal academy. The best Supernatural school there is.

I knocked at the office door of my brother Ron. Or Alpha Prince Ronan Luca Donovon. Now that title belongs to my brother's only son Victor. "You called me brother?" I asked. "Yes Amy take a seat." He said. He is in one of moods that means I have to endure another hour of his torturous lacture.

I heard another knock and there it was King Xander too. I call him the Xandy yes and he is a king but he is a brother to me nevertheless so if my two brother's are here together and they were sitting on the opposite end of mine that means I am in lot of trouble now. And I do not like to be in this position. I impatiently tapped my foot and they both looked at me with a sympathetic expression.

"Amy..." I raised my hand in order to stop him. "I know what you want to tell me. I suggest you don't please." I said. "But Aims He is right it is been three years since then. Three years since you have endured this pain three years since you last saw him." Xander said.

"I know Xandy and I know you and Ron wants what is good for me but I too know what is good for me too." I said softly looking at two fully grown man giving me tired and irritated look. "Ok then how about this? We don't force you to mate with anyone but you are to be the lead warrior of the elite forces and it is a tradition that every elite warrior is to attained the Alpha ball we are organizing"

I knew where this was going to go but I said nothing and chose to listen just listen not act over it. "Ok so?" I asked. "Just please consider it and attained it this time. You don't know maybe your opinions will change and you will find love again?" Ron said holding my hand.

"We all want to see you happy sister and that good for nothing Daniel Kingston is not your happiness. He left you in pain and broken and I don't think I can go through that again so please consider it for us for your Ma and for your nephew and niece. We are family and we always want what is good for you please Amy" Ron said and Xander nodded.

"Ok I will think about it and just attained the Alpha Ball this time but If I don't like anyone you won't force me to chose someone to mate." I said. "Ok I promise but you have to promise to then to attained this ball this weekend" Ronan said. I looked at the faces of both my brothers.

It was covered with anticipation, worry, sadness and a sliver of doubt. I know they want what is best for me. They don't want me to end up alone. Heck I don't want myself to end up alone. But Daniel Kingston is my mate. He is suppose to be with me.

"Ok I will attend the Alpha ball and I promise to look at the possible matches there are may be. But if I don't like it you will not force me to chose" I said. "Ok Amy we promise" Ron said and Xander nodded in affirmation.
