Chapter 39

It had been a month since everything had turned into normal. Or as normal as it can get with all the things the wolf and the Angel kingdoms had been through. It had came as a shock to the Andalusia, the death of their Monarch was nothing what expected by the citizen's.

The whole country mourned for their king. Me and Gabe made a shrine for him as done before by other for their rulers. Daniel decided to leave his pack's command with Mike for some time. Gabe had helped in establishing safe and instant teleportation system between Angel and wolf kingdoms so that Daniel can travel to and fro from there to here if necessary.

And I had to take the throne along with Daniel as the next ruler of Angel kingdom. I don't know what to think now. Will I be a great ruler? Will I ever meet the expectation of my subjects? I am terrified because of this. So I decided to visit the shrine of Darcy before the big day. Maybe I get some guidance.

"Oh mighty king provide me with your guidance" I said sitting down on my knees. A silvery laugh echoed in the air. And I saw that millions little balls of light conjured up in the air to form a figure. A ghost?

Ok things just got weirder. It was not just any ghost it was King Darcy. He looked the same silvery hairs and white wings and addition to that a hallow over his head. "You don't have to bow down to ask for guidance you can just call me little sister" He said walking no floating towards me.

"y..you are a ghost" I exclaimed in horror. "Yes thank you for mentioning that" He said dryly. Oh I must have offended him. "Angles don't die Angles just get converted into their astral forms. Their divine forms. Though we are just ghosts as you can say but we still retain the powers we had in our mortal form"

Now I understand. "So you are like a guardian Angel." I said. "You can say that. I am in a way like all other of your ancestors." He replied. "Is mother and father are there wherever you are when not being the guardian Angel?" I asked. "Yes they are and they are proud of you little sister. I am too. You will make a good queen" He said.

"I don't know first thing about ruling" I said getting nervous all over again. "You will have lots of time to learn and beside Daniel can give you one or two pointers about ruling" He suggested. I nodded absentmindedly.

He tilted my head upwards so I can look directly into his eyes. "You have got this and I will always be here for you. You can always seek advice from me. I will help you always. You just need to call my name." He said and kissed my forehead and it felt like thousands of happy thoughts going into my mind.

He then dissipated into millions of lights again and they dissolve into thin air. I have my own guardian angel. I cannot wait to tell Daniel about it. Yes I want to tell about it to him.

I walked inside the castle and straight into the quarters which specially prepared for me and Daniel. We will move to the upper floor after taking the throne. But somehow I feel I am invading King Darcy's privacy he is still alive somewhere and I don't know if he will like for me to snoop through his things.

I found Daniel and he kissed my forehead. "How did it go?" He asked. "You won't believe what happened" I said and pulled him close as I told him with my not so unrealistic encounter with King Darcy.

I was dressed in pure white with gold trimmings in few places of my gowns. It felt totally unrealistic but I have been taught about their customs when I started to stay here. I am overwhelmed by all these. Daniel walked inside our room with a tux as same colour as mine. Trimmings of gold had been embroidered on his neck and cuffs.

"You look divine, did anyone told you that?" He asked kissing my forehead. "I feel like I am going to faint, what if I made fool of myself?" I asked. I know I was going to trip and fall. I frowned on my expression. Victor come running inside with Talia on toe. "Hey little Prince" I said. "Hey aunt Em, I think you will rock as a queen" Oh that was so much assurance thank you Victor.

"Aunty Emy loo Pretty" Talia said she was dressed in a rose gold gown and Victor was wearing a black tux. What is with this guy and black? I don't understand his and Ron's obsession with black.

"It's time" Daniel said hugging me from side. He held my arm, I was glad he was holding me or else I would have fell down on my butt, slipped and fall on my face. Oh there are thousands of scenarios I can think of where I am falling off and all of the men laughing at me .

"Relax little one" Daniel placed a kiss on my mark and I relaxed instantly. Sometimes you got to love the mate bond.

As we neared the platform I saw Gabriel with my little princesses and my Prince dressed like us. Although they are six months old they look like nine. You got to love werewolf genes sometimes. The minister started and I held my breath.

"Do you swear to rule with justice, maintain the order and work in the best of favour of your subjects?" The minister asked. "I do" I said and he repeated the same to Daniel. Then they placed the crown over our heads.

"Rise, now I give you King Daniel Kingston and Queen Celestine Kingston Of Andalusia" All the crowd erupted in cheers. That was not so hard was it. But still something felt very off. Maybe it was the last dying sentence of the witch about how she said, until he lives I cannot be dead.

Was that means she could be back again?

We Don't know that for sure Amara, but we need to prepare for anything now.

You are right Celine, we cannot take any risk. We need to make sure nothing ever threaten the happiness and safety of my subjects and my family.

"Hey love ready for party?" Daniel asked. "I want to sleep can a queen do that?" I asked. He laughed, "Oh yes a queen can do many things and I have some things in mind that we can do," "Get your mind out of gutter my mighty king" I hit him on the chest playfully.

"Do you really want to?" he asked. "I have to baby pains of ruling the kingdom King cannot flirt with the queen openly," He placed his hands on my shoulder and placed a sweet kiss on my lips. "Then, we have a lot to change," He said holding my hand as I saw the sun setting in the sky.

"It could be like this forever, I hope this is our happily ever after" Daniel said sighing. "I hope so too, because I paid too much for the view" And we erupted in the laughter once again.
