"Are you serious Sweetpea?!" I yelled storming into the small trailer Sweetpea trailing shortly behind.
"I said I was sorry, Veronica. What else do you want?" He replied following me to your shared bedroom.
"I want you to not cheat on me!"
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked noticing that I was starting to put clothes in a bag.
I walked into the closet looking for a sweatshirt "I'm leaving." I sighed walking back over to the bed
"No, No I'll make it right I swear. Just tell me how?"
"You can't just fix it that easily."
"I know it won't be easy but I'll do anything, please." He begged grabbing my hands
"I wish you could do something." I slowly retracted you small hands from his.
"Baby, what do you mean?"
"I just can't stop seeing you and Josie in my head" I tightly shut my eyes to stop the tears "and nothing will make it go away" your voice cracked
"I know and I'm so sorry, we were just in a moment"
I scoffed going back to packing. "You know Sweetpea that's the thing about a moment, you have a moment to decide if you cheat or if you don't. So don't even use that excuse."
"You're right, you're absolutely right. I swear it will never happen again, just please give me another chance."
"I don't think I can." Tears we're falling down your face by now. "When you flirted with Betty, you swore you only loved me and it would never happen again, but look where we are." I sat on the edge of the bed Sweetpea sitting next to me. "I don't think I can handle any more pain."
"I know and I can't even express how sorry I am, if I could go back I would. And i'm so sorry I make you hurt, I would never want to do that. I understand the pain your feeling but-"
"No you don't." I cut him off standing up. "You don't know a damn thing, and you know why? Because I would never do that. Every time Archie tried to get back with me or Reggie tried to get at me, I stayed loyal to you, I loved you." I tried to stop the endless amount of tears coming down my face and try to keep my balance but I just ended up falling to the ground anyway. "It hurts, Pea."
"Babygirl, no please don't cry." He wrapped his arms around me kissing the top of my head. "I'll make it right."
"How?" I looked up
"I don't know yet, baby, but just stay here tonight and we can talk more in the morning, please."
Being to tired to fight I nodded my head. He picked me up bridal style before gently laying me on the bed and climbing in next to me. "I know I fucked up and your probably going to leave me." My heart clenched at the thought of me not being with him. "So please let me cuddle you tonight."
Nodding slowly I turned over laying my head on his chest, one hand wrapped around his torso, the other resting under me. His hand holding me tightly, while the other stroked my hair.
I quickly started to drift off into sleep but before I did I heard a faint "I love you" causing me to smile and for a second forget we were even fighting.
