Jon's eyes widened by the sight of this beautiful blonde women right infront of him being stuck in a phase that made him look like an idiot.
"Anything wrong Jonnathon?" asked Jessica.
Jon snapped out of his phase "Uh, yes. And please call me Jon." he said.
"Why's that?"
"I just like it, and it's faster to say." Jon answered.
There was an akward silence until Jessica decided to break it "So, what are you gonna bring home? You havent caught anything, besides this Brouse." she said.
"I'll bring the brouse then." he replied as he stared into the brouse's dead body that was slowly gathering flies above it.
"You cant!" snapped Jessica "They dont belong in...your world. Just catch some normal fish, I'll stay with you."
"Fine." Jon sighed.About an hour later Jessica and Jon caught about 5 or 7 fish and they also got to know each other a bit more. "Hey Jessica, can I ask you something?"
"Sure" Jessica replied.
"Why are you here? I mean why did you come here?" Jon asked
"For you of course."
"Why?"
"Im here to pick you up and take you with me-" said Jessica.
"Wait what?! Take me where?" said Jon.
"I'll tell you more about it once we get going back to your home Jon."After catching more fish the two of them walked back to the trail that Jon ventured through to get to the river "So can you tell me where your going to take me?" Jon started the conversation.
"Take you to defend yourself against these monsters and teach you some... Magic." replied Jessica.
"Magic? Like actual magic that can make stuff disappear?" said Jon in a suprised tone and nearly tripping on a rock.
"Yes, something along those lines"
"But my parents wont let me go with you. I mean to them your just a random stranger thats probably trying to kidnap me."
"I'm going to make this clear, Im not here to kidnap you Jon." said Jessica chuckling
"I mean, I know you not going to kidnap me, but my parents wont trust you."
"Jon I think we need to talk about your "parents" once we get to the outskirts of the forest."
"What about them?"
"Save that question once we get to the outskirts, Jon"
"Fine." Said Jon sighing, passing a trap he made "Today has been a crazy day for me Jessica."
"Yes it has Jon."
"I wonder how much time I have been out for, my parents are probably worried sick. he said with a yawn as the skies glowed orange.
"Probably." said Jessica. As they were walking towards the outskirts of the forest the two of them came along a Nin Din, a creature that looked like a deformed rabbit with sharp front teeth and red eyes that could replicate human voices and other sounds that lurks its unsuspecting victims toward it to maul them to death and save them for eating later. "Nasty little buggers." Said Jessica as she pulled out her dagger from the Nin Din.
"They look disgusting" said Jon
"Definitely" replied Jessica as she put the dagger back in her belt and they continued to make their way to the outskurts until they finally made it and Jon's house was in sight "So, what about my parents Jessica?" asked Jon.
"Well, it's kinda hard to say, but...They are not your parents Jon." she said as she looked into Jons eyes.
