To Kim:
Wanna meet up tonight at the warehouse?

It was another attempt to get Jennie's body into her arms again, but just like the others, it failed when Jennie simply read the message without responding.

It was a week since Lisa and Jennie's meet up in the girl's bathroom, a week since Jennie had left Lisa questioning what the hell had happened for her to refuse spending time with her.

It was a full week of texting, on Lisa's part, and ignoring, on Jennie's part, and the blonde was slowly getting annoyed at it. What the hell had she done for Jennie to ignore her all of a sudden?

On a rainy Wednesday morning, Lisa decided she had enough after Jennie had ignored her message yet again, and flicked her cigarette away angrily before making her way inside the school. It was lunch time now, and Lisa knew Jennie was inside the cafeteria with her best friends.

Quickly spotting the trio after entering the cafeteria, Lisa walked towards Jennie with big steps, took her hand and dragged her outside, leaving back Jennie's confused friends.

When Lisa let go of Jennie once they were behind the school at her usual spot, Jennie crossed her arms in front of her chest and narrowed her eyes.

"What do you want?" she asked, a coldness in her voice that Lisa didn't like at all.

Lisa didn't want to talk, she wasn't good at talking. So she stepped closer and captured Jennie's lips with her own instead.

And Jennie felt herself reciprocating; she hadn't realized how much she had missed the blonde's lips on hers.

"You need to stop this stupid game, Jen, it's not gonna end well for you," Jennie then recalled Chaeyoung's advice from a few days ago, making her stop the kiss and push Lisa off of herself, even though her heart wanted nothing more than to keep Lisa close.

Lisa was puzzled at Jennie's behavior, while Jennie asked that one question Lisa had feared to hear out of Jennie's mouth after their second time together.

"What is this?"

"What? We just kissed," Lisa answered, playing stupid and hoping Jennie wouldn't take it any further. Lisa didn't want whatever they had to end, but knew that it was leading to just that right now.

"No," Jennie shook her head, "What the hell are you doing kissing me, touching me. What is this what we're doing?"

Jennie had heard of it too often; two people getting into a friends with benefits kind of situation, and it always ended up with one or both of them hurt, always with one of them catching feelings and getting their heart broken. Jennie didn't want to be that person.

"What's going on, Kim? I thought we were both just having fun?" Lisa questioned, masking her fear of losing whatever they had well under a fassade of unconcern.

The truth was, Lisa didn't want to admit how much she enjoyed having this connection with Jennie because she hardly ever showed her real feelings to anyone. She didn't even have anyone to show her feelings to before Jennie, so she didn't even know how to do it. All she knew was that she didn't want to lose Jennie.

But Jennie had entirely different plans. She thought about what her best friends had adviced her to do; stay away from Lisa and stop whatever they started.

"Well I don't want to be a part of your stupid idea of fun anymore, Lisa," she said, the tone in her voice when she spoke Lisa's name sending a chill through Lisa's body.

Before Lisa could even think of something to say to make her stay, Jennie turned around and left, leaving no choice to Lisa but to watch her leave.
