Last Chapter friendsssss, but the sequel is already in the works so don't panic just yet.
Jisoo wasn't an emotional person, everyone knowing her knew that much. In all years of her friendship with Jennie and Chaeyoung, the girls hadn't seen her cry, not once. Even knowing each other since kindergarten, on Jennie's part, and elementary school, on Chaeyoung's part.
The truth was, Jisoo was an emotional person. She just didn't show it. Jisoo was the strong friend, the one that comforted the crying ones.
Like that one time in kindergarten when Jennie scraped her knees after a bully had pushed her; Jennie had cried so long and so much, and Jisoo had held her the entire time and kicked the bully afterwards, making Jennie laugh her beautiful laugh again.
Or in middle school, when Chaeyoung's mother called her during lunch time and told her that Chaeyoung's fish had died. Chaeyoung cried, and Jennie cried for Chaeyoung, but Jisoo comforted her best friends.
And when she hurt herself when she fell down in elementary school while playing on the slide with Chaeyoung, Jisoo had told the crying Chaeyoung that she shouldn't worry and that she was fine, holding back her tears so Chaeyoung would stop crying for her.
Jisoo was the eldest; she had to comfort her friends/girlfriend. They were her babies, and if anything was to happen to them, she wouldn't hesitate to turn the world upside down only for them to smile again.
It wasn't like Jisoo never cried. The brunette knew that crying was healthy, it relieves stress and frustration and it is just needed sometimes.
But she didn't show her crying. She cried alone, in the dark, where noone could see her. She didn't dare to show her friends how weak she could actually be, she wanted to be strong for her friends.
The thing was, when Jennie showed up at her door, crying, sobbing breathlessly as if her heart was screaming to be set free from this hurt, Jisoo couldn't be strong for her anymore.
Chaeyoung had been with her, and instantly pulled the brunette into her arms, tears quickly forming in her eyes too.
Jisoo prepared a hot chocolate milk for her best friend, because chocolate always helped, even in beverage, while Chaeyoung tried calming Jennie down in the living room. Jisoo could hear them crying together, and sighed as her heart clenched with pain.
Jennie had yet to tell them what happened, but Jisoo could only assume the worst. Lisa must've done something.
She was ready to kill the blonde if she had to, but she was sure she had a simple explanation for whatever she'd done; she had to. Jisoo had seen the love Lisa had for Jennie, at least what she assumed was love.
She hoped it was. She wanted Lisa to fix it.
Returning back to the two best friends in her living room, Jisoo handed each of them a mug with hot chocolate milk.
Jennie looked down at it, smelling, before more tears escaped her eyes, her body shaking violently with sobs.
"Woah woah, hey," Jisoo said in a state of panic, quickly settling down beside Jennie and pulling her into her arms as Chaeyoung took the mug out of Jennie's trembling hands.
"What's wrong, Jen?" Jisoo asked worriedly.
Jennie shook her head before burying her face in Jisoo's shoulder. The chocolate milk had reminded her of Lisa, remembering how she had asked Jennie to pick up some after school when Lisa was hurt.
Jennie just wanted to stop. She wanted to stop crying, stop hurting. She wanted to be in Lisa's arms. She wanted to feel Lisa's lips. She wanted to hear Lisa's voice, her laugh.
