Mark Tuan. Jinyoung hated that name and that person. He had been scolded yesterday because of him. But he was not going to let Mark get the victory that easily. He had plans to get back at Mark.

Jinyoung searched for Mark around the whole yard. The sun rays of the morning were scattered over the yard. Both the backyard and frontyard had a considerable amount of plants and flowers. Jinyoung chose the backyard as he was certain it was the time Mark would be there, watering the plants.

Mark was not found there, however. But Jinyoung did not give up; he saw the plants had not been watered yet, and Mark would be here very soon. Just wait and see, Mark Tuan. You will soon know what kind of person I am, Jinyoung declared inwardly.

Standing near the plants and crossing his arms, Jinyoung waited. His eyes ran over the flowers and something caught his attention. A small plant, with the tiny blossoms was growing alone, separately from the others. And there was no other plant of the same sort. It was standing out differently from the others.

Jinyoung knew it, by the sight, that someone had grown it recently, and the answer came to him instantly. It was Mark. Staring at it, an idea struck him - why bother torturing Mark physically if he could just destroy something Mark seemed to have kept with care?

Next moment, he stepped towards the plant and stamped his foot on it hard, crashing it. It did not take much effort and the plant was all torn with a single crash. The tiny stem was broken and the leaves and blossoms all crushed on the ground.

Jinyoung looked at the dying plant in satisfaction and smiled wickedly. That was it.

"Park Jinyoung!"

Jinyoung turned toward the voice, with his smile not disappearing. Mark's eyes were in a flame, and he clenched his fists before striding towards Jinyoung. He shoved Jinyoung away and had a look at the plant, which had just been destroyed.

The species had been given by his aunt before they moved here, and it was also rare here. Mark saw nothing could be done to make the plant alright again; it was already dying.

When he turned to Jinyoung again, his eyes were both upset and filled with fury.

"Why did you do that? What's the matter with you!"

The smile was still displayed on Jinyoung's lips; he was even more elated to see Mark getting furious.

"It's just fair. That's what you deserve for making me get into trouble. You hurt me yesterday, and now it's what you get back."

"I don't understand you, Park Jinyoung. What've I done to you that you hate me so much? You make fun of me at school and then you fought me yesterday. Now you damaged something I'm fond of."

Jinyoung crossed his arms and looked squarely at Mark. "Because you're poor and yet you don't treat me like the young master I am. And because of you, I was scolded yesterday. That was all your fault. You said bad things to me. I'm not forgiving you for that. Never."

"Then at school? You not only pick on me but also get the others to make fun of me. Is it fair? I should have said everything to your father yesterday. You're also a liar. You know nothing about life and everyone around you fulfil your needs. You're spoiled, Park Jinyoung. But I'm not going to tolerate you like the others. You deserve no sympathy."

"So what! I don't need your sympathy. From a poor kid like you."

"I wonder if you even have human feelings, because I see you bully the maids as well. Is it because they are lower than you? Do you have any idea that all of them are more aware of what's life than you? You only live in a small circle and think it is your world. A lot of children of your age know about life more than you. Do you even know that?"

"That's poor people's talks. I don't need to know such things. I have everything I need. And what does that knowledge give you? You are still nothing and will never become anyone better."

"I'm only nine years old. You can't judge a book by its cover. Someday, who knows, you could be poor and I could become rich. Don't think that kind of miracle doesn't exist."

"Nonsense. You talk rubbish. And mind you, Mark Tuan, you can't no more treat me like that. You're too confident even though you're nothing. One day, you would certainly fall on your knees in front of me. Just remember that."

"And you'll just realise that I'll never yield. Don't be so certain that you'll get everything you want."

"Wait and see, how I always have plans to get what I want."

Mark just shrugged and turned away to turn on the tap and grabbed the water pipe. His anger rose again when his eyes fell on his plant. He hated Jinyoung, for everything he had done to him. And would never forget any of this, in his whole life.
