Hermione Zabini (A Dramione Story)

Chapter 1- Muffins

Hi guys! This is like, my first fanfic I have ever done, so um feel free to like and comment and vote and all that.

Hermione's POV

My mind wanders, mid-sentence in my book. I slip a bookmark in, and stare absentmindedly at the ceiling.

All those people who died at Hogwarts last year- Lupin, Tonks, Fred. And I could name a
dozen more.

It just wasn't fair, for those people's lives to be taken away just because of one boy.

Not that I blame Harry for any of that, I mean, without him, Voldemort would still be alive, for goodness sake.

After the war, things slowly went back to normal. Ron and I had discussed the kiss and we had both agreed that we didn't want to take our relationship any further.

I'm just happy that it didn't ruin our friendship. Harry and I have stayed friends, we've caught up a few times in the holidays.

I go back to my reading, but I can't seem to settle, and instead I head downstairs.

"Hi mum."

"Hi Honey, guess what? I made muffins!!"

I laugh, and enhale deeply as mum takes the muffins out of the oven.

My dad comes into the room. He cheekily takes a muffin out of the tray and starts eating it.

Mum bats him away with her oven gloves, but seeing that it has no effect, she takes one, and hands another to me.

We sit down, cuddling into each other.

"Mmm, these are good," I mumble, sandwiched in between my parents.

It's at times like this, I realise how much I love my family.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," Mum sighs and pulls herself off the sofa.

I trail after her, curious to see who could be calling. My dad, seeing that everyone else is going, follows.

Mum casually unlocks the door, then immediately recoils.

"Hello," say Mr and Mrs Zabini.

A/N Oh My God! Boom! Here is the first chapter. It's a little short, but I hope you like it, and ummm YEAH!
