Chapter 18- The letter

Hermione's POV

It is only when I am in bed with the lights off do I think about Draco. My crush on him has grown even bigger, if that's possible. I would ask him out, but I need to be sure he likes me as well. I don't want to keep putting it off.

Sometimes I wish things would go back to normal. I want to be the Hermione Granger who's only worry was that she would get 9/10 on a piece of homework.

But I'm not Hermione Granger anymore. I'm Camilla Zabini, a girl who's head over heels in love with Draco Malfoy.

I sigh. My head hurts. I decide to go to sleep, even if its only 8:00.

Just as I reach to turn the light off, Ginny comes in.

"This is for you, girl," she says, and hands me a piece of parchment with the word "Camilla" on it. I recognise the handwriting. It is from Draco. By the look on Ginny's face I gather she has already read it.

I almost don't want to read it. But I'm curious at the same time. What is it that Draco would want to say to me? I hastily rip it open, too curious to resist.

Dear Camilla,
I'm writing this because I am too shy to say it in person.
There's no point hiding it anymore.
I love you.
I don't care if you still hate me, which is very likely. I have and will continue to punish myself for all the hateful things I have said and done to you.
But at least I have said what I have been wanting to say all year.
If you feel the same way, meet me at the Blue Lake at 8:30
Draco

I don't register the words for a second. I just keep tracing my finger around the words "I love you". He loves me?

My eyes start watering and within minutes I am sobbing.

He loves me! He loves me!

Then I realise the time. 8:26! I have four minutes to get there. I stumble out of bed and into my boots. I don't even look in the mirror as I rush outside.

I am at the Blue Lake. But where is Draco?

A figure comes out from behind a tree. He is wearing a charcoal black suit, ironed to perfection, with a nervous smile on his face.

"Uh...hi," He says

"You, uh, got my letter," he says.

"Shut. Up," I growl, and I step forwards and start snogging his brains out.

Dwamione! Yay! So now Draco has confessed his feelings to Camilla, will they become girlfriend and boyfriend? All will be revealed in the next chapter!
