Chapter 20- Love Party

Hermione's POV

Ginny. Of course its Ginny out of everyone that finds me here, in the dead of the night, cheeks red and lips swollen, obviously just been kissing someone.

And from the look on her face I bet she already knows who it is. I smile, hug, her and tell      her all about it.

"OMG!! So does that mean you two are officially going out?" She asks.

"I guess- I mean of course," I reply.

Ginny's smile turns mischievous. "Then your gonna have to ask my permission to date. After all, her is MY brother."

"Oh." I say. I never thought about it in this way. "Can I date your brother?" I look at her with puppy dog eyes.

"Hmmm..." She pretends to think and I look on anxiously, wondering if she might actually say no. It certainly isn't like her, but-

I am cut of by my thoughts by Ginny's scream. "YES!!! YES YOU DUMBO!" She sees my glare and laughs. "Come on, I was only joking!"

"Shhhhh! I whisper. Its the dead of night, remember! We're gonna be in so much trouble if someone finds us here!"

"Okay, okay," she says and we tiptoe back to the fat lady's portrait.

"Password," the Fat Lady mumbles, as if still asleep.

"Fairy lights," I say confidently.

Suddenly the Fat Lady comes out of her trance. "No!" She says stubbornly.

"What do you mean? That's the password isn't i-" Then I realise, and groan. The password changes at midnight, and sure enough, when I glance at my watch its already 2:30 am.

I look back at the Fat Lady. "Come on! You know who we are, just let us through!"

"No!" She says again. "Its protocol. You don't have the password, you don't gain entry."

I groan again and this time Ginny pulls me the other way.

"What now?" I ask irritated. I am annoyed because now I'm going to have to try and find somewhere to sleep in the massive great hall, or Library.

"I have an idea," she says mischievously.

"No Ginny. I've had enough of your ideas. Why are you out so late anyway?" I ask irritably.

"Its a secret," she says.

I shoot a glare at her.

"Well...Blaise was helping me with my homework and ummm," She mumbles.

I can't help but grin. "So you two are going out as well!"

"Yes! I can't believe he likes me back!"

I hug her. "I'm so happy for you Gin,"

"So...where where you planning on sleeping tonight," I ask her, now that I'm more relaxed.

"Well...we could always take a kip in Blaise and Draco's room?"

Hello everyone! Yet again, I'm so sorry for not updating in a *coughs* while. I have just been so honestly BUSY! Maybe there will be more updates? PS I just read the Hunger Games and OMG I freaking love it!
