" Yes Marcus, I am still in one piece. But my ear isn't we tried to do a little karaoke and let's say someone can't really bring it."....

" I know I said I call you as soon as we arrive and I did. We left the Silver Knight pack at 6'o clock and it's a 5 hour drive. So we decided to take the afternoon tour around the campus. How is the meeting going. Has anyone try to chop someone's else head off?" ....

"It got cancelled, why?"..

" Is everyone ok?" .....

" At least no one got hurt. What about the

meeting?".....

"Ok, than tomorrow I'll be there listening to you grumbling about how some alphas have big heads. While I just nod silently and agree."

" I know. I have to go, the meeting is about to start. And Ella and Allis are give me the evil eye. Bye... love you too."

" What's with the hesitation?" Asked Ella as soon as Sarah ended the call with Marcus.

" It's nothing." Said Sarah making a deep sigh. And slumbered in the sofa beside her next to the laptop.

"Ok, if you need to talk you have us." I said. I know pretty well what's going through her head. She lied to Marcus to protect me... us. She is straggling because sometimes certain matters you need to take them to the grave, but relationship is built on trust. And sometimes when you understand someone's trouble, you come in terms with your problems. And at this point my boy drama is resolved. I know what I want.

" How is the girl doing. What's wrong with her ?" Asked Sarah clearly wanting to change the subject. And I don't blame her.

"The girl emotion and mental state will be known as she wakes up, physically she crumpled and broken. She is dehydrated, and has wounds covering her whole body. Some of them are infected. And I am afraid since she was in such a state, she may trigger her wolf earlier than normal people. Since our wolf side, needs to protect his human side. So to survive the transition she needs to bring a lot of energy back. If she doesn't get her health back quickly. She be a corpse in a few days. To turn at such a young age is impossible, and in her condition...."She didn't need to finish the sentence.

" I am going out to bring some food because we haven't eaten all day. And bring some new clothes for the girl." I said. I couldn't stay in that room any longer. I wanted to run I felt vexed at how the Unity pack treated a 12 year old girl. And felt some irksome coming out to, because it's ironic how we risked our lives to a girl sitting on a dead bed. I am not the optimistic kind, I am all about realty and those are the cold heart facts.

"Bring me the usual." said Sarah while patting her stomach.

"Me too, and yes I want you to go to a drug store. And buy some antibiotics and some syringes. I need to check her DNA to see which is more domaine if it's the human side or the wolf side. Do you still have some wolf's bane left in those duffel bags."

"Yes, I think their is a little more left. Bye."

I wore a baggy t shirt and a big sunglasses and a baseball cap. And disguised my scent among one of a human. I can't be caught here when I supposed to be miles away.

As I walked among humans in the busy street, I remembered the moments I used to have with my mum. She was the one that taught me how to blend or change my scent. We used to have these mother and daughter trips outside of town in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. But for me was home, I always felt safe their and since my mum passed away, I never went their. It was our place, if I go their alone I just come true to the realty that my mother is gone. We always hope for the best, and even if she died two years ago I still hope she still alive.
