After Dumbledore lightened the room, he looked at Scarlet and smiled.

'Take a seat please' he said. Scarlet looked around, making Dumbledore understand that there was nothing to sit on. 'Right. I'm old, Scarlet. I forget things.' Scarlet looked puzzled, still not knowing what to sit on. 'We'll make this room look like you wish. Just say it.'

'Why? Why are you giving me this secret room?' she finally dared to ask.

'One thing at a time, Scarlet. And now what wallpaper would you like?' he asked.

'Black with tones of emerald green. Like in the Slytherin Common Room, please' she replied, still not knowing why all of that was necessary.

And with a flick of the wand, the walls became just like the ones in the Slytherin Common Room.

'Thank you.' she managed to say.

'Right. Now. Flooring?'

'Please make it look like the Slytherin Common Room.'

And Dumbledore did. He made some comfortable green chairs appear, an oak study desk, some beautiful torches, an enormous black and emerald green bed, a black rug and posters and pictures of different types of serpents. Scarlet's heart was growing bigger and bigger to see her dream room come to life. She spent her eleven years before Hogwarts on Spinner's Edge, in a small house. She had never experienced comfort before and she was glad to do it now, trying not to seem desperate.

'We're done here.' Dumbledore said after some time. The room was finally finished, looking exactly Scarlet wanted it to look like.

'Thank you, Professor. But again, why is this all necessary?' Scarlet thanked.

'You're too young to know, but I'll tell you as soon as I can' Dumbledore replied, thinking. 'All I can tell you now is that your father and I agreed on you spending the rest of the years you have at Hogwarts here, in this room. No contact with the outside world.'

'Not even with my friends?' Scarlet said, she with her voice trembling.

'No, of course not. Your father and closest friends are allowed to visit you. But that's all.' Dumbledore replied. calmly. 'Although, I wish to know who you would like to be visited by if you would please to tell me.'

'Of course, Professor. I'd like my father, Draco, and Demetria to visit me.' Scarlet answered.

'Very well. I will give you some time to enjoy your new room and I shall retire to my office to discuss some matters with your father. And please don't stress out with your storm of questions. You will get the answers one by one, but when it comes the time. After all...'

'Patience is a virtue' both the Headmaster and the girl said simultaneously. Dumbledore let out a warm smile while Scarlet chuckled.

'I see your father has raised you well, young lady.' Dumbledore said after some moments of silence.

'Thank you, professor.'

'I shall go now. Your father is waiting.'

'Of course. I will not keep you. However, I really wish to see the Malfoy twins right now if you could make that possible, sir'

'Please consider it done, Miss Snape.'

With another reassuring warm smile, Dumbledore left the dark room he had designed for Scarlet, gently closing the door. The girl's head was storming with questions one after another, flooding her brain more than any NEWTs level book she had ever studied. 'How will I eat if I am to remain here all the time?', 'How am I going to proceed with my studies?', 'How will I breathe in here? There is no window in this dark room and I will consume all the oxygen eventually.' some of her thoughts sounded like. Fortunately for her, the door opened and a boy and a girl with light blond hair: the twins.

'Carly!' Demetria ran to her friend, hugging her tightly, while Draco kept the distance still giving Scarlet a reassuring smile. 'How are you? What is this room? Why are you staying in here?' Demetria asked after breaking the hug.

'Demi.' Draco said firmly.

Demetria looked at her brother. 'Right. Sorry for all these questions, Scarlet.'

'Don't worry, Demi! I don't know the answers to all of your questions. Professor Dumbledore said I will have all my answers one at a time when the time will come.' Scarlet replied, letting out another chuckle.

'Then what was the first question you have asked yourself?' Draco asked firmly.

'How will I eat?'

'That's a good one, Carly, given the fact that it's almost dinner time.' Demetria said.

Suddenly, a small oak dining table for three appeared in the middle of the room. Surprised, the children looked at each other. Being extremely witty and paying absolute attention to details, Scarlet noticed a piece of paper on the table, near one of the plates. She took it and read it out loud.

I heard you were curious about how to eat in this room. Whenever you feel hungry, say 'I'd like to eat something'. Then say what you would like to eat and how many people are going to eat. Then, this table will appear in your room, having the food you wanted on it. Do not stress too much.

 Yours, Albus Dumbledore.

With that being said, Scarlet and the twins sat down and ate delicious pork steak with mashed potatoes. To finish off the delicious dinner, the children ate some sweet biscuits. With their stomach full, the twins left, promising Scarlet they'd come tomorrow too.

This is how the days passed. Scarlet would do whatever her heart pleased, still having the teachers come to her room to teach her whatever was taught in school: charms, transfigurations, potions, history of magic and all the other subjects. The first year passed by quite quickly. Draco still visited her every day, while Demetria said she had homework and was busy doing them all. The girl had access to The Daily Prophet and Draco filled her in with all the gossip. She was disgusted when she heard that Potter was so famous after the battle with Quirrel.

Her second year went on the same way, and so did the third and fourth. And fifth.
