"Hyung... you wouldn't do that Hyung...".

Yugyeom addresses, nervously nodding his head, hoping that the words that slipped out of Jinyoung's lips were lies.

Jaebum wiped the bloody crevices of his mouth, ignoring the tension in the atmosphere. He refused to let his eyes greet the younger.

He stayed silent.

"Tell them, Jaebum. Since you love them so fucking much, and you care about their well being so damn badly, tell them the truth. Tell them about what you did at that party, Jaebum".

Jinyoung spat at his best friend in disgust, allowing his eyes to burn through his entirety. Jaebum pasted his attention to everything but his friends. Guilt washed over his heart.

But he had to be strong about it. He had to tell the youngers the truth.

Even if it hurts him.

Even if it hurts them.

"Jackson, Yugyeom, BamBam. I made a huge mistake. I, I participated in activities that I am not too proud of, and in return it made me do some pretty fucked up shit. Shit that I wish i can take back more than anything. I need you guys to forgive me".

Jaebum announced with shakiness embedded in his tone. He then grew enough courage to graze the stupefied expressions of the others. Expressions that made him sink even deeper into the hole that he dug for himself.

"You're disgusting".

Jackson grimaced, shoving Jaebum out of his grip.

"Jackson, it's not even l—".

"It is like that, Jaebummie. It is. And if it weren't , you wouldn't have done it in the first place".

"You don't understand—".

"I'm disgusted with you. Just take us to school already. We need to get as far away from you as possible".

Jackson and Jinyoung didn't even let the older say another word before they began walking back to the car; pulling the youngers along with them, who were staggering behind to continue glancing at their Hyung with utter shock.

And the car ride to the school didn't make things any better for Jaebum's tranquility. Silent and miserable. Full of tension, full of fury and frustration, full of unanswered questions.

Just imagine, a car that was once filled with annoying idiots who couldn't get enough of each other, now full with nothing but resentment waiting to be released.

And when the time came they fled, closing the doors without looking back. Jaebum embraces the harshness of each slamming door, propagating the stake in his heart.

He didn't mean to hurt him.

God, he didn't mean it.
