"magic shop."

"what are you doing?" jeongguk raised an eyebrow as yoongi attempted to sharpen his pencil with scissors.

yoongi frowned, "what does it look like i'm doing?"

"making a mess,"

yoongi rolled his eyes and continued to slide the blade across the tip of his pencil. after a few minutes of failure he finally gave up and tossed his pencil down to the ground, "it's no use, the pencil is still dull. how am i supposed to take notes now?"

jeongguk shrugged, he lifted up his pencil pouch and waved it around in yoongi's face, "i dunno maybe you could've asked me for a pencil,"

"o-oh. i didn't think of that."

"yeah but you think that scissors would be able to sharpen that dull pencil," jeongguk quietly scoffed under his breath, he opened up the pouch and scooped up a mechanical pencil.

he handed the mechanical pencil to yoongi and grinned slightly, "there you go."

yoongi smiled in response and placed the scissors back down onto the table, he quickly wrote down everything on the board and used jeongguk's notebook to write down what he missed. it was a lot of writing but at least his pencil didn't break now.

"alright class, since it's friday and you finished writing down your notes i am allowing you to sit down with your friends and talk until the end of class. just keep in mind that there are other classes around us though." ms. jenkin's announced but before she could even finish half of the class was already moving around the classroom.

jeongguk cleared his throat, "are you going to go sit down with your friends?"

yoongi shook his head, he closed his notebook and grinned cheekily, "i don't really talk to anyone here other than you but if you want to move then go ahead,"

"i think i'll just stay here. what if you try to sharpen your eraser next?" jeongguk asked sarcastically, he smirked as yoongi crossed his arms while huffing.

"on second thought i am going to sit in the back of the classroom!" yoongi stood up from his chair and stomped all the way to the back near the window, his table was already all in the back so going to the back of the classroom didn't really make a difference at all.

yoongi plopped down next to the window and laid his head down on the glass, he gazed out of the window and frowned, "m-meanie,"

jeongguk smirked once again and walked up next to where yoongi was sitting, he carefully sat down next to him keeping his distance and hummed, "why do you always call me mean?"

"because you a-are.."

"am i really?" jeongguk cooed.

yoongi shifted his eyes away from the window and glared at the smiling boy, "n-no. you're not actually m-mean," yoongi shook his head and beamed brightly.

jeongguk nodded and hesitantly raised his hand to ruffle yoongi's hair, yoongi giggled quietly at the feeling and blushed lightly.

yoongi and jeongguk spent the rest of the period in the back of the classroom talking about almost anything, as jeongguk spoke about his childhood yoongi crawled up towards him and laid down on his lap. .

"y-yoongi what are you doing?" jeongguk asked, his sweet voice now replaced with a deep voice. yoongi shrugged, "laying down on your lap? i-is it bothering you?"

jeongguk gulped harshly but before he could say anything else the bell rang loudly in their ears. jeongguk gently shoved yoongi off of him and gathered his belongings, yoongi slowly stood up from the ground and pouted, "t-that wasn't very nice,"

jeongguk didn't reply, he grinned apologetically towards yoongi and rushed out of the classroom before anybody else could.

why is he always rushing to leave the classroom? yoongi wondered while shoving his notebooks and texts books down his book bag. he took a small glance at the mechanical pencil and gasped, "i forgot to give the pencil back!"

yoongi dashed out of the classroom and scanned the hallways in search of jeongguk but there was no sign of him at all.

yoongi figured that he'd just give it back on monday and headed to social studies just in time before the teacher could mark him as absent.

taehyung grinned and pulled out a chair for yoongi, "you barley made it~"

"yeah, barley."

_____________

"aren't you going to eat?"

yoongi yelped at the voice and dropped his phone to the ground.

the hooded boy chuckled under his breath and scooped the phone up, "nice wallpaper," he handed the phone back to yoongi and grinned.

"would you stop sneaking up on m-me? how do you keep getting inside anyway?" yoongi breathed heavily.

"don't worry about that," jeongguk replied firmly, he waltzed up to yoongi's fridge and opened it revealing different kinds of foods, foods that yoongi hadn't seen at all.

"w-where did all this food come from?? the last time i opened this fridge it was as empty as my soul!" yoongi asked, his eyes full of concern.

jeongguk smiled, "you're welcome,"

"w-w-wait you did this?"

"i guess i did,"

yoongi grinned at the food individually and then glanced at jeongguk, his eyes full of light, "i don't know how to thank you jeongguk! this is very thoughtful of you," yoongi without a warning wrapped his arms around jeongguk and blushed lightly.

jeongguk inhaled sharply, he placed his hands on yoongi's shoulders and gently pushed him back a bit, "y-yoongi you can't just do s-stuff like that,"

"but why not? i-it was just a hug.." yoongi frowned in response and grabbed one of the drinks from out of his fridge, he quickly glared at the label and chuckled, "banana milk?"

jeongguk shrugged, "don't judge me, that used to be my favorite drink and is the best drink in the entire world!"

"what do you mean used to be my favorite drink? if you want you can have one, after all you did get all this food for me!" yoongi handed one of the drinks to jeongguk and grinned.

"u-uh.. i-i.. yoongi i can't drink this. i'm lactose intolerant.."

yoongi blinked, "really?"

jeongguk nodded and closed the fridge door, "let's head upstairs."

"a-alright.."
