Shadow thought he'd never see the day where he would team up with his own rival and help him save the world.

But oh yeah, this is happening.

The ebony hedgehog wasn't even sure why he decided to help Sonic and his loser friends in the first place, really it was more of Rouge's idea she wanted to get revenge on Eggman or some shit like that and he just sorta went with it.

It was now one in the morning and Shadow was regretting everything, he should of just stayed out of it like a good boy. But he didn't. What a loser.

Now he was sitting on a couch in Sonic's living room watching Rouge down a whole carton of milk as Amy and Knuckles cheered her on. The striped hedgehog grabbed his temple, he was officially done with everything.

"Hey Shads, is everything alright?" Shadow's ears stood up at the call of his name, really it was more of his nickname a certain blue hedgehog gave him but still. He turned around to see Sonic giving him a warm smile and sitting next to him.

"Yeah I'm fine, just tired." Shadow answered.

"Oh i see, you sure you're not bummed because your not getting in on the fun." Sonic chuckled and pointed at the group in front of them where Amy was now the one drinking a milk carton.

"No, that looks dangerous anyway." Shadow stated

"Yeah you're right." Sonic chuckled "well you should we should all go to sleep then you can crash in the guest room if you'd like."

"No that room is taken!" Knuckles yelled eavesdropping on their conversation.

"But i thought you said you weren't sleeping here," Sonic said very confused. "Don't you have an emerald to guard."

"I got that taken care of." Knuckles replied.

"Then where will Rouge sleep?"

"With me ya knuckle head."

"And Shadow?"

"Uh," Knuckles put a hand on his chin to think but Rouge already answered the question for him.

"He can sleep with you." Was her response.
