"OH, God." I laughed and looked up. "Seriously, sa labas talaga?"

"What?" He smirked, his green eyes glistening as he brushed my hair and buttoned the dress shirt, his shirt, I was wearing. "You said you loved watching the stars?"

"Yes!" Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. "Ano'ng connect?"

"You loved the stars so I will show the stars how much I love you," he mused.

"Hala, kinilig!" Natawa siya sa reaksyon ko at tinusok ang pisngi ko.

"Ang corny mo kamo, Prince Caspian," sikmat ko pero 'di na maitago ang ngiti.

"Corny lang naman ako sa 'yo, Reev," bulong niya at inisang buhat ako.

WHEN I woke up, I'm in the hospital. I sighed and cupped my head.

"Ayos na kayo, Ma'am? Nakita po kayong walang malay sa may labasan. Mabuti po ay may nakakita."

Inangat ko ang tingin sa kanya. "Ayos na. Salamat, Nurse. Sinong nakakita?"

"Si Sir po, boyfriend n'yo raw?"

"Boyfriend?" My forehead creased.

"'Yong gwapo po, may green na mata? Ah! Mr. Alcantara."

My lips parted. "He's here?"

"Opo, siya po ang nakakitang wala po kayong malay at itinakbo kayo rito. Lumabas lang po siya saglit, pumunta po ata ng Chapel."

Nanuyo ang lalamunan ko.

"If you see him, can you ask him to come here?"

"Sige, Ma'am. Check ko lang po muna kayo."

Malalim ang iniisip ko habang abala siya sa ginagawa. I dreamt of Caspian again and this time, a part of me knew it wasn't a fragment of my fantasies of him.

We are more than just friends before. The things he made me feel were no different from now.

We had a relationship before. Was it only just in bed? He couldn't be the father of my child. He just couldn't.

"Reev!" I snapped back from my reverie when he strode closer to me. He looked tired, his eyes filled with worry as he cupped my cheek. "What happened? Are you okay? You fainted!"

I stared at him weakly. "You're worried?"

"Of course!" The crease on his forehead deepened. "You weren't answering my calls. I drove around looking for you! Ano sa tingin mo ang naramdaman ko no'ng nakita kita sa gilid ng daan? Walang malay?"

The desperation in his voice made my heart ache. I realized his eyes were bloodshot, his hair's disheveled, and visibly distraught.

'Di ko na napigilan ang tuluyang panghihina. I sighed.

"C-Cas," tawag ko.

"You should've told me where you are. Para alam ko kung saan ka hahanapin," his voice shook, lowering his head as he held my hand. "Don't do that again, Reev. Don't disappear on me, don't s-scare me like that."

I didn't say anything. Nagulat ako nang maramdaman ang basa sa kamay ko kaya dali-dali ko siyang inabot.

He's crying!

"Caspian..."

"I'm sorry," he chanted and pulled me close. "I-I didn't want to cry. I'm sorry I can't help it. Natatakot lang ako, Reev. H'wag mo na gawin 'yon, n-natatakot ako."
