PART 2

The meet and greet had finally ended and all the fans were gone. The only people here now were us, our crew, and the security guards. .

We were standing in the hall with our jackets on because we were leaving soon and we were talking about Serenade.

"I had to lift mine up." Ammon said. "Nothing I couldn't handle, of course." he added with mock pride.

"Really?" I laughed. "So did I! She was having a hard time getting ..." I trailed off as I looked past TJ.

I was looking out the glass doors down the hall. There was a girl outside, banging on the glass and screaming. I think I just saw her tonight. I hadn't ever met her before tonight. What was her name again...?

"Patch, what are you looking at?" Tanner asked and turned to look. Just as he did, this big muscular guy came up behind her, grabbed her around her stomach, and lifted her up, taking her away from the door! As he did so, her eyes widened and she screamed louder!

"Hey!" Zac exclaimed. "That's Dorothy!" Oh, yeah! That's her name! I thought.

I took off running toward the door, the other guys following behind. "TJ! Go get help!" I called back and he left our group. I was looking through the glass, watching as he carried her down the stairs, covering her mouth to try to muffle her screaming.

We got to the door and ran out, down the stairs, skipping every other step. The guy had heard us coming, so he paused to set her down and readjust so he could throw her over his shoulder, but as soon as he set her down, she started fighting back!

She started hitting him and slapping him and digging her nails into his skin and face, but then he grabbed her hands and held them as he bent down to put her over his shoulder. We were almost there when I saw her bend down with her face over his neck. He cried out and quickly stood up and slapped her face, sending her to the ground!

What?? He just slapped a girl! As I got to them, he turned and looked at me and I threw my fist at his nose with full force!

=================

I was laying on the ground, my face hurt like crazy! I felt a tear slip out of my left eye as I heard Jeremy grunt. I propped myself up on my elbow and looked as I saw one of the guys from the band standing at my feet! He was looking at Jeremy, who was covering his now bleeding nose. His hands were balled into fists and his face was full of fury.

Whoa... I thought in amazement. That's Patch!!

I was so scared while Jeremy was carrying me that I had started crying. He covered my mouth to stop me from screaming and I tried opening my mouth wider so his hand would slip into it and I could bite it, but his hand was huge and it didn't work! Then out of no where, he just stopped and set me down so I started fighting back! But he caught my hands! He started to bend down and I bent down over his neck with my mouth open and bit down hard! I think I might have pierced the skin, because there was this icky taste in my mouth. Yuck!

"Dorothy! Are you okay?" I Turned and saw Zac, along with Tanner and Ammon! What is this??

I got up and ran to Zac. I wrapped my arms around him and cried into his chest.

"Aww, Dorothy, you're shaking!" He said, concerned, then started comforting me. "Shhhh, it's okay. You're safe now. Shhh ..." He hugged me back, putting one arm around me and one hand on my head, holding me closer. Then the security guards jogged past us towards Patch, Jeremy, and now Ammon, who was helping Patch keep Jeremy on the ground. The guards took Jeremy off their hands and escorted him back to the building, radioing for the police as they went.

"Dorothy, are you ok? Who was that?!" Patch asked.

"Jeremy. I knew him from seminary," I said, tears still streaking my face as I broke away from Zac. "You'd think that meeting someone in seminary would classify them as a good person, but he definitely is not good. He is a lustful old man." I say, my bottom lip quivering. Then my teeth chattered. I was freezing!

"Lets get you inside, you look cold." Zac said, taking his coat off and wrapping it around me. He then continued to wrap his arm around my shoulders and pull me close to him.

"Here, let me help." Patch said, coming to my other side and wrapping his arm around me, his hand on my waist. Slowly but surely, I was starting to get warm, but I would warm up faster inside.

We got in and sat on one of the lounge couches that was just inside the door. They found a good warm blanket and Zac and Patch both stayed by my side to help make me warm up faster.

"What were you doing out there anyways?' Ammon asked, confused.

"I was lost. I need to find my car so I can get home, but I can't remember what direction it's in!" I said, with tears ready to return.

"Well we can help you there."One of the security guards said, walking over as I spoke.

"Ok, but I want to warm up first. It's sooo cold out there!" I exclaimed!

So i sat there between Patch and Zac, and Ammon, Tanner, and TJ sat on a couch nearby and we just talked and joked around for a little while.

Finally, I was feeling way Warmer. I didn't say anything, though, because this was great! I loved sitting here! But Patch felt that I was warmer and said something about it. So now I had to leave. Saaaad!

We went and talked to the security guard and she said she would grab her keys and ran off.

"Wow, tonight has been crazy! I said. "You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for Saving me ..." I added as tears welled up in my eyes again. I hugged each of them and then the security guard returned and I left with her.

It was 11pm when We figured out where I parked and I got in the car. First thing I did was pop the trunk and grab the double-layer fleece tie-quilt that my mom had in there in case of emergencies, sat down in the front seat, and put it over my lap because I was still really cold. Then I turned up the heat to full blast.

Then I said a prayer of thanks to my Heavenly Father for keeping me safe and for letting me come to the concert tonight. I thanked Him for my new friends and for leading me to them last month. I closed the prayer and put the car into reverse, backed out of the parking space, then switched to first gear and left the parking lot. Tonight would be a night to remember....

Pretty intense, right? Haha

What do you think of how I did the different perspectives? I got the idea of using italicized text for a different POV from Chris Heimerdinger's Tennis Shoes Adventure series.

Jeremy Littleton is a real person, although I changed his name because nobody really needs to know who he is. Where I met him and his contact with me did actually happen and when I said that he is in the navy is real. However, I haven't seen him face-to-face since a couple months after he contacted me on Facebook the first time and i just saw him, we did not talk (THANK GOODNESS).
