I held her there for about an hour, the wind blowing softly around us, she smelt faintly of fruit, I love fruit. I just wanted to hold her there forever. All through her sobbing I would murmur "it's okay, I'm here now, you're going to be okay" it seemed to work, her sobbing started to subside, she stood back, trying to wipe the tears off, I pulled her face in close to mine and wiped the tears off slowly with my sleeve. She gave me a thin, watery smile, I took her hand and led her to the wall. I told her to tell me what happened, and as she spoke the anger bubbled. How could Weasley do that to her? She is such an amazing person and deserves better! So I told her just that. She leaned against my shoulder, and we sat there for ages watching the sun go down until Hermione got up to leave, saying it was getting late. I pulled her in close once more and kissed her forehead softly. "Goodbye" I murmured in her ear...
"Goodbye Draco, thank you"
With that she turned, a smile playing in her lips, back to her common room. As I turned to go back to mine with a strong feeling of Euphoria and a smile upon my face, I got hit by a curse right in the back. My my first feeling was that it was Hermione, a feeling of betrayal started to emerge... then I heard Weasley's laughter and that burning anger returned, I couldn't move, I was hit by a stunning spell. Weasley came up to me and crouched down next to me.
"What are you doing with my girlfriend?!"
"Your girlfriend? Last time I checked you played rat and cheated on her!"
He released the curse, having taken my wand.
"You're just using her to get to Harry aren't you!?"
"No I'm not! I would never do such a thing to such a lovely girl! She deserves better!"
I spat on the ground by his feet. So he stunned me again, this time he left me there... He left me there all night, I wasn't found until morning.
