"Put me down Iida!" She was currently hunched over Iida's shoulder.
How this started? Well she didn't really know.
10 minutes before
"Okay you promise not to tell anyone? All of you." Iida, Ururaka, and Midoya were currently standing in front of her. The question of 'Who do you like' came out of nowhere. "Todoroki okay! I like Todoroki!" She squeaked out. Ururaka jumped up in the air, "Omgomgomg!" She squealed. Iida and Izuku were surprised, but it would explain why she always seemed so flustered and blushy around him. "Why didn't you tell us earlier!" Iida threw his hands in the air "You know he likes you too." He smiled, but only seeing his crush and his best friend being slowly taken away from him, he only wanted her to be happy. So he picked her up over his shoulder and carried her to where Todoroki was.
And that's what got her in this position, "What are you doing!" She pounded on his back. He never wanted to put her down, because he knew that his daydreams of them being together were slowly falling.
Back to where Ururaka and Deku was, he was extremely confused on my Iida was doing this. He infact, knew about Iida's crush in her.
Iida put her down right in front of Todoroki.
"Todoroki, Mai has something to say to you."
He turned around to see a flustered girl in front of him. She looked up at him smiled but turned around "Iida, you've got this all wrong. Can I talk to you?"
She put her hands on his chest, well it was because Todoroki was a few feet in front of her, she was more like squished into him.
"Excuse us, well be right back" Iida put his hand up, Mai took his hand and lead him out of the room. "Iida, the only reason I said I like him was because" She paused for a moment to play with her hair, Iida noticed this, he knew her well enough that this meant she was nervous. "Because Iida, I like you" She looked up at Iida, he was smiling from ear to ear.
"I like you too" he picked her small frame up and twirled her around, her skirt flying, they were both happy. Once she was put down, she hugged him, arms around his neck, arms around her waist. They were content.
