"This is nova.....my sister?" I said while it comes off more like a question; but it was quiet for a moment, everyones jaw had dropped including Chiron's. It was so silent that I could even hear the crickets "WHAT!" Was heard all at once throughout the whole like a dam that broke ( I need a dam snack rn tbh)
Than all at once questions such as 'wait you have siblings?', And 'sally had another kid?', ' why doesn't she look like you and poseidon?' At that question everyone piped down aaaand then a series of 'yeah's!' Was being thrown.
Nova gived me a wary look to and I nodded since I knew there was no way I could deflect this question even though I also have no idea about this "okay...the reason nova doesn't look like poseidon is because poseidon I not her father..neither is Paul". At this confused faces where prominent and series of flashes appeared and there stood the olympians along with sally and Paul: poseidon looks angry yet confused, athena looked like she's calculating something which is weird were not doing math right now...right?, Zeus trying to look intimidating (Urgh drama queen much?), Apollo looks serious like he has something to do and so does Hermes, ares is enjoying this based on the giant popcorn he has and is leaning in as if he's watching a drama, Aphrodite looks interested, Haphaetus looks curious, Dionysus is about to fall asleep, Hera smiled at nova which returned the smile, now Artemis and sally look absolutely livid.
" are you saying that I'm a whore boy" Sally said eyes flashing with deep anger.My eyes automatically rolled on its own, I was about to say something when Artemis started talking
" Honestly you guys are such pigs only doing what benefits you. You boys are the lowest of lows an-" "ENOUGH" a voice bellowed, cutting her off mid sentence and causing everyone to jump. Every eye except apollo; turnes to face Hermes that was heavely breathing but looked furies. "What" artemis demanded fire burning behind her eye which Hermes easily matched " you heard me, enough is enough-honestly don't you hear it, don't you hear of how much of a hypocrite you are. You blame the guys for every thing that goes wrong but what you choose not to see is the pain of men to. They get murdered, raped, abused, judged, cheated, and get their heart broke too, and guess what; most of these stuff that occur to them is by the hand of girls, women, those who you so fond of." He finished with barely any breath left combing his long raven/black hair out of his naturally big eyes.
Artemis was seething. She took a threatening step toward Hermes when apollo stood up a serious look on his face which Artemis didn't think to much about "you're one to talk I-"
"Artemis" apollo said in a low warning voice that sent chills down everyone's back but it seems that Artemis didn't get the memo, she kept going
" what do you do again. Oh that's right you deliver messages, delivery boy, errand boy that do whatever we sa-" "ARTEMIS" apollo bellowed, his voice icy. " what", she mocked, "can't stand somebody criticizing your boy I mean he deser-" he gave her an icy look that made her stop in mid-sentence, she froze; he never did that before, he always stood up for her even if she pushes him away, call him names, yell at him, he never did that and that scares her.
"I. Said. Enough." He said very hostile and flashed out followed by hermes and then Hera who gaved Artemis a disapproving look.
It was quiet for a while before " well that was quite a show...bye" nova stated before taking my hand and ushering us to the poseidon cabin.
